Why does J novel seem to be losing volumes?
-
I have purchased Mixed bathing in another deminsion through volume six from J-Novel club through Amazon still waing for years to get volume seven, however last search only showed to volume 4! What in the world is going on here? Even on this site I only see up to volume 4 available. What happened to volumes 5 and 6? Is there any news on volume seven? Did the author die or something?

Hello,
Please refer to the following topic for more information about the volumes disappearing from amazon:
https://forums.j-novel.club/topic/3391/books-preorders-missing-from-amazon?page=1
There is no word on when V7 will be released in Japan as of right now, the Author is still updating the WN
Edit: all the volumes are still available on this site:

Above the "buy" buttons for v1-4, there is an arrow button, that will show you v5-6.
As far as Amazon is concerned, if you purchased from them, they should still be in your Amazon library. The topic linked to by @Rahul-Balaggan explains that you can't currently purchase them on Amazon if you hadn't already.
Mixed Bathing is not the only series that not getting new books in Japan. At least with Mixed Bathing, v6 appeared after a long delay.

@Rahul-Balaggan Is there a site where his web novels are translated?
-
Not to my knowledge, and if there was it definitely would not be a legal option.
-
@Rahul-Balaggan figures thanks anyway. Guess I'll hurry up and wait.

So now these titles are Banned!? That makes absolutely no sense. I guess it was a really bad idea to recommend this title. I need to double check my review. Thanks. This is totally crazy! Seems like something "illegal" may be happening? Back to reading on the web, if it's all illegal anyway? Hope Somebody figures this out.

It's their own private platform, they are allowed to sell or not sell anything they want. If you disagree with their policies, then you should stop buying from them and buy from somewhere else. We sell our ebooks on many webstores, including on this website.

@Scott-Taylor-6s4ak2x
To buy directly from JNC you need either a Basic or Premium membership plan. With that you can buy credits at either $7(Basic) or $6(Premium). You then use those credits to redeem and download your book of your choice. Premium also comes with 1 credit a month, and iirc 1 upon sign up. -
Thanks for the heads up on the membership Khaos

@Scott-Taylor-6s4ak2x You also get access to the prepublished versions of the current books and a certain number of series run on a catch-up setup. It allows people who weren't members at the time of original release to read the prepub versions of series.
I have found several series that I did not have time for when they started due to IRL issues, that are now staples of my JNC life.

I've found several series I liked through the prepubs and monthly catch-up, ones that I'd never have bought blind.
I've also saved myself money by reading enough of a volume to discover <Wataru> It's! Just! Not! My! Cup! Of! Tea!!!!!!!!!!!! </Wataru>
