How to tell if I still have credits even though my premium membership expired
-
I have been a premium member for, more or less, 2 years, but, unfortunately, lately I've fallen on hard times so my membersip expired. The thing is I had some credits saved up. 2 or 3 from what I remember, but I can't check if they are still there since that option disappeared from the menu and, likewise, there is no option to spend them. As such, my question is as follows. Are they still there just invisible and waiting for me to regain premium membership or did they simply got erased?

If you resub they'll still be there, I believe the new web site overhaul will let you actually see and use them when you're unsubbed once that rolls out. If you're wanting to know how many you have, you can probably drop their support email a line.
From the FAQ
If you no longer have an active subscription, unused credits are saved to your account, but you'll need to re-subscribe or contact us if you want to redeem them.

The number is also visible on https://j-novel.club/mypage/redeemCredit?title=titleslug page.

This was said by a staff (Rahul Balaggan) in 2019 regarding premium credits without after membership expires:
Short answer: it is easier to use premium credits when you are subscribed.
Long answer: it is still possible to use premium credits, you can email support@J-Novel.club and have them manually take the credit and add the desired book to your account.
Or you can manually go to the books redemption page and by typing out the URL and redeeming that way.
The last is easier than e-mailing, of course.
