In page options not displaying correctly on my ipad

Using the app
it worked until recently, now;
after clicking on the cog, the UI displays incorrectly and i can't access all options

ipad 5th generation

ios 16.7.15

I am having the same issue and also weird spacing where italics was used. Most recent chapter of diary of a sage.
