      I enjoy SAO, Dungeon Dive, .hack//SIGN, and Grimgar as well as series that have a wide array of supporting cast members.

      What would you guys recommend I check out? I'm eyeing Infinite Dendrogram while it is on sale and have also started To Another World...with Land Mines.

      Hoping to read something that isn't so much an 'aura farm' fest like Solo Leveling (Not to say that is bad, just not my cup of tea).

        I haven't read too many VRMMO series, so I don't know how well this fits, but have you looked at The Unimplemented Overlords Have Joined the Party? In terms of page count the story focuses primarily on the various "supporting cast" characters, and there are quite a few of them, with the MC sometimes seeming like the real supporting character.

        The author is very willing to kill off members of the supporting cast, though, so if that is a potential issue for you keep it in mind.

          Dimension Wave, Late Start Tamer, Exp is Golden, and Bofuri. They are not stuck in game world like Log horizon/SAO, but instead its about the game being played by the players in unconventional ways.

            Infinite Dendrogram

            That's a good one with an MC that's heroic in a human way not as a cardboard cutout or insufferable twit like Arifureta's Kouki.

            Land of Leadale is a post-MMO world that starts with a small cast but it grows over time. Cayna is a fun character. The anime is pretty good but had to cut out some good content to cover more volumes.

            I've only seen the Bofuri anime but that was a lot of fun and the story is clever and at times silly.

              @HarmlessDave I heard good things about Leadale so I will check it out. Would you say Bofuri is more slice of life than action or does it balance both?

                  @Reshes you're welcome.
                  another one that I can't believe I forgot is 'a wild last boss appears'. The Ln is finished (fully translated into English), and it has an ongoing manga here, and the first season of an anime was released last year I think.

                  Its not a full dive type of story, but more the MC's been shoved into the body of his game character. Its over the top ridiculous (by the end the power level is DBZ crazy), and a lot of fun.
