When downloading a book and the download dialog is open, closing it with ENTER saves and downloads, but jnovel seems to trigger the dialog again (if that is also closed with with ENTER, it does not show a third time; likely because of the "overwrite", see later text). On the other hand if the dialog is closed with clicking on the "Save" button, it does not trigger another time. Finally, when closing the dialog with the X (cancel), it also does not re-trigger.
As a aside, if the dialog is closed with a ENTER but then a overwrite warning happens and that is also closed with ENTER, it does not trigger another dialog.

      There are no logs.

Does jnovel just do a download redirect (like clicking on a a-href element), or is there some code involved? (if there is no code, i guess it must be a firefox issue)
Note that i can only reproduce this double download dialog with jnovel, no other download website.

This issue exist for quite a while, but i never bothered to report it before.

      Environment:
      Firefox 151.0.2
      J-novel 01.06.2026
      Dolphin (KDE) 26.04.1

@hasezoey There's likely a bit of code involved on the backend since the novel epubs at least are built at time of download so your account username gets inserted on the copyright page.
