[MOBILE APP UPDATE] V3.4.0 Update Notes

We have published an update to our mobile application for Apple and Android devices. This post includes some notes about the update.

Changes

• Begin paragraphs with wider indentation.
• Split paragraphs on page breaks in page mode.
• Fix lists in page mode.

The update improves how novels are rendered.

Novel Indentation
Previous indentation was implemented with a number of space characters. We have replaced this with an amount of virtual pixels.

Novel Page Mode Paragraphs
When using the novel reader's page mode, this version breaks long paragraphs across pages. This includes changes to how the renderer measures how much to put on a single page. Pages should no longer be taller than the available screen space and no longer need vertical scrolling under the reader's page mode.

Troubleshooting

Android:
During testing, we sometimes encountered an installation error updating the app from the Play Store on our devices. If you experience that issue, uninstall J-Novel Club and install it again.
