Reader App bug?

Hey so I encountered a rather strange bug with the app reader where for some reason for me and seemingly only on To Another World... With Land Mines! Volume 13 Part 11 when tapping the screen to bring up the navigation (not sure if that's exactly what you would call it) bar at the top and progress bar at the bottom, unlike how it usually fades in and out smoothly without affecting the page at all it will now "flicker" a little and progresses the progress bar about 2% each tap. Oddly tapping the settings button at the top right will progress the progress bar 1.1% (appears to only happen when closing the settings menu).
This suddenly started out of nowhere as far as I can tell. I use the app on a Revvl 8 Pro. This didn't happen when I started reading this part but only after coming back to reading it today after watching Youtube (which experienced a crash shortly before so I don't know if that could be in anyway related).
I would like to note I've tried several things before posting here which include: restarting my device, force stopping JNC and restarting it, disabling adaptive battery settings, as well as adjusting several settings in app to see if anything would fix it.
Edit: Moving on to Part 12 the same issue is happening after scrolling down a little but less extreme... It progressed a fraction of a % now. Very confused.

Yes. Since installing the new app on my android phone setting the same issue of the text moving when tapping in they middle of the screen to bring up the interface. Decreasing the page control regions has no effect. Using scrolling mode and on an S24 Ultra (Android 16).

I have my own issue. It says that the server is not connected when I try to read a book I purchased. I tried reinstalling the app, but then it said that the book I was trying to read was deleted, despite the fact that I could read it on another device. Help!

An update as been released on the app stores for the JNC app.
It may take a bit for it to appear in your update list but it has been released.
This should solve the issues with reading manga.
