A lot of the light novels that have been coming stateside, especially the reincarnation titles, focus on a "hook". "Vending Machine". "Pizza Parlor". "Spiders".

What are some you guys have found that you think are cheesy, ridiculous, or even just plain bad?

This one looks pretty lame, lol, but I can't say I'm not interested. xC

Man gets Isekai'd, and his first companion is a lizard... Not a lizard girl, a lizard! Not a Komodo Dragon, a tiny little lizard that sits on his head.

I'm sure there's more to it than what the cover and inserts show, but yeah.

Most Hentai stuff, I heard there is a Hentai Isekai where the Goddes becomes the MCs Love Slave through a skill he acquired and he is born in the new world with 3 Sisters ... yeah, I don't need to say anymore shudders I don't even remember where I heard all this from.

There are all those Otome Game one where the MC is the Villainess but I heard there is one where MC becomes the MC in a Game but all the routes end with ... well, it is one of those Smut types of games so I don't really need to tell you. The short story is MC does not want that.

two Otaku are summoned to a World where Violence is Forbidden.

there are those stories where Skinship or some form of Sexual thing brings a power-up or something like that.

MC becomes a Hot Spring. There is even a tsundere who hates MC at first.

Isekai where MC is a Healer and is fired from his Job because he Pervs on Girls and Sexually Harasses the Employer.

MC is powered by his Slave's Smile

A class is summoned Randomly around New World, MC is Slavemancer and enslaves the School Idol.

Series that just serves as an Excuse for characters to Talk and make elaborate Word-play.

MC is OP in our world (by mastering every Martial Art and Fighting styles) but then is summoned in another world by Goblins and has the power to Take other peoples Skill, what does he do? Foreplay with Slaves

Main Character is a guy who has Magic powers and is enrolled in a Magic School. yet he not a Dense Gentleman Main Character but is a perverted guy who makes it his goal to see seven specific girls naked. he is also looking for his missing girlfriend.

@drone205 damn those are all silly and actually got me interested lmao. People can be really creative sometimes, even in a perverted way. I wonder if the authors for those LNs write porn scenes lmao. I remember watching an anime where the mc was treated like the best porn scene plot writer. I forgot the name of it. I even forgot how it ended. I don’t even know if I finished watching it. Was so long ago, but your post reminded me of it.

Chef becomes a military strategist. This one is probably too tame a plot compared to other stuff posted, there's a lot of foodie stuff. I'll keep looking for the bizarre.

There is this one where a girl is born as a treasure chest in another world. I was like, "what the heck" when I saw it, but now I've come to terms with it. xP
