      Hi! I have some questions

My manuscript is around 100K words... so I have to bring down to 75K right? Am I allowed to outline some plot points to fit the word count?

      Does chapters names count.

Also it's a serialized fiction, so I should say that it is Volume 01? And If my Novel won, can I also publish other volumes?

Where can I get support for this?

From reading the whole TOC from both this year and the previous-previous one.
        I can say,

        1. Max 75k is the whole volume and ONLY contain the story. Yes you have to compress it to 75k max. If impossible, just cut it on a good part for future next volume

        2. Last year participants are encouraged to put outline for the whole series. But this years, there's no mention of it. Better not.

        3. Anything that adds to wordcount is counted. If you put synposis, character profile, and table of contents. Those are counted too.

        4. Whatever the name name of the first volume are (volume 0, volume ex etc), it's still volume 1.

        5. Whether you can keep the series going or not depends on the demands. Just any other series by the publisher.

*notes, i'm not jnc staff. If you want to be sure, reply or dm people with #staff tag on their name
