Sorry - I just joined and am totally new to J-novel so this might be a dumb question.

But do I need to have a subscription to read currently releasing/streaming series if I have enough coins to rent the chapter?

I just want to read what's out for Lady Hannelore's 5th year, but I keep getting an error message everytime I try ;o; !

@JustAnOwl53 yeah, rental is only for released books/expired prepubs iirc.

You can gain access to the prepubs for a specific volume by preordering it directly from JNC's website though, so not just subscription.
