@Terabyte unsure if you don't do more than 1 detail, but mentioning Black Summoner's upcoming anime and not StepExes felt weird to me, since that's likely why it's on for this month too.

Nah, I simply forgot about the anime. Updated the first post. 😋
-
Would this be an appropriate place to discuss this month’s catch up?
-
@marcus_atticus Most people just do that in the catchup topic in the News subforum.
-
Yup. As the title says this is more of an archive where you can easily look past catchups without looking at every single old news.
-
Updated with August 2022 catchups. 🌞
This time all 7 series are on catchup for the first time: the usual (ongoing) manga, 3 complete light novels, and 2 ongoing light novels.
-
@Terabyte - also, weren't you doing this before we had a News forum post every month? I remember a few years back discussing titles in your monthly post because it was the only good place to do it.

Yeah. I took over from @Terrence around May 2018 and I've been updating this topic monthly ever since. They didn't post a news topic about catchups back then.

@Travis-Butler it's definitely no masterpiece, but I found it enjoyable enough... But it gets progressively worse with each book, the latest shtick actually made me loose interest partway through a book... Then I forgot about it until the next one came out, I got it, then realized I never finished the one before... I'm like 2-3 behind now... & I don't really care.
-
And so we start the new 2023 catchups list with January. 🧹
As usual we have a manga on catchup: Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill. Not to mention that there are 5 series this time around and 4 of them have an anime starting soon:
- By the Grace of the Gods (second season)
- Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill
- Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire ♀
- The Misfit of Demon King Academy (second season)
===
P.S.: I have also updated the first post and separated all catchups by year in different spoilers.
