      Maybe this is (mostly) the same thing Rhyll was mentioning a year ago, but I noticed Bookworm (LN) was missing a bunch of middle volumes on Overdrive (not my local library, but in the list of all Overdrive titles to recommend to my local library); it has Part 1 V1-3, Part 2 V1-3, lacks the following, and then resumes with the nearly most recent Part 3 V5 and Part 4 V1-2.

      A few others I've checked seem to be uninterrupted, but I didn't check everything, so I'm not sure it's completely unique to Bookworm (Villainess that Rhyll mentioned doesn't have beyond v5, which is slightly different compared to Bookworm having the most recent volumes).

      Anyone know if that (lack of) Overdrive availability is intended? (versus not noticed or not important enough to spend time on)

        @hatguy12 We'll check. There might be some gaps in our uploads, since overdrive uploading is extremely time consuming and manual compared to the other services.

          I recently noticed the newer Part 3 and Part 4 volumes of Bookworm on OverDrive, so I was checking to see where I left off and the missing middle volumes hasn't changed.

          I thought I'd ping in here that the corrections haven't happened yet. I'm satisfied so long as they're still planned to be looked into - they're quite worth the wait.

          I'd also like to note that the "series" tagging on OverDrive is inconsistent -
          If I search by creators: Miya Kazuki, You Shiina, or Quof they all seem to come up
          example: https://www.overdrive.com/search?q=Miya Kazuki
          If I search by series, there are several different tags that don't bring up all the books
          ex:
          Ascendance of a Bookworm
          https://www.overdrive.com/series/ascendance-of-a-bookworm
          brings up 4-1, 4-2; manga v6
          Ascendance of a Bookworm, Part 1
          1-3, manga 1-2, 1-3, 1-5
          Ascendance of a Bookworm: Part 2
          v1 and v3
          Ascendance of a Bookworm: Part 2 [looks identical to prior]
          v2
          Ascendance of a Bookworm, Part 3

          Somehow the main OverDrive site, as opposed to the specific one for my library, has different results on these series searches for some of them, so I just linked the ones with the odd behavior on there.
          I can imagine that someone trying to follow the series through the OverDrive app exclusively may get quite confused trying to figure out where the rest of the books in the series are if they're not trying to search by author. I'm sure this has to do with OverDrive being a bother in the backend, but since it hasn't already been reported I thought it might help.

            I really appreciate the recent Overdrive/Libby updates, especially marking in the titles which ones are manga, and the tagging/search cleanup.
            The relatively recent update of Bookworm LN volumes to Overdrive did pull in a lot of the more recent volumes, but there's gaps again, I'll list just missing volumes since there's less missing than there:

            Part 4, Volume 4
            Part 4, Volume 6
            Part 5, Volume 2
            Part 5, Volume 3
            Part 5, Volume 4
            Part 5, Volume 6+

            I understand if the later part 5 volumes are merely on delay, but the real pain point is the gap in the middle of 4 despite the end of it being available. Especially since the side story compilation available on Overdrive/Libby also potentially spoils these volumes.

            I will, as ever, be thankful that you release them on Overdrive at all, and that you all posted so many volumes all at once. I'm looking forward to the continued publication of Bookworm and am grateful for all your hard work releasing it.

            *not just my local library, but in the list of all Overdrive titles to recommend to my local library

              Different library platform, but Hoopla has had a decent batch of JNovel light novels for a while (1+ years?). However, in the last few weeks/months, a scattering of titles have been added on top of that existing list. It's something like 300 titles or so.

              From what I've seen, I thought all/most library's that have Hoopla have the same titles available it.

              The older batch of titles has more series in full sequence (from the start), whereas the newer additions seem more scattershot and among JNC's newer releases (not always with the prior volumes).

                Since my last post, the largest gap - volumes Part 5, Volume 2 - P5, V11 have all been added, with only the last (Part 5, Volume 12) not being added.
                The two volumes [[ Part 4, Volume 4 Part 4, Volume 6 ]] are still missing on Overdrive.

                However, I didn't consider checking hoopla for books before!
                While neither Overdrive or hoopla had a full set, each managed to fill the gaps in the other, so I finally got to find out what happened next!
                Specifically, these two that were missing on Overdrive/Libby were on hoopla:
                Part 4, Volume 4
                Part 4, Volume 6

                So, anyone else trying to finish the series but stymied by app availability might have a better chance if they check both Overdrive/Libby and hoopla. I did notice that different libraries had different stuff available on hoopla, so even though Bookworm is in the hoopla app, it might not be available through your local library. One of my libraries that had more of Bookworm on Overdrive, didn't have any of it on hoopla.
