Moms are cool (Best Mothers In Japanese Fiction?)

Mommy Isekai (Summoned With My Mother Whose Attack Power Is Twice the Average) is coming shortly to the US and it's Mother's Day.
What are some of your favorite mothers in Japanese Anime / Gaming / Manga / Novels?
Mother Brain:
Mother 3 (Hinawa is seriously a good mommy too).
Seriously though, I'm going to go looking for some mommies that were favorites. Pour one out for mommies with the death side ponytail hairstyle:
-
Favourite mother in Anime and stuff? IDK maybe the mother from "Haiyore Nyaruko-san" or Holo since in "Wolf and Parchment" she is a mother or Megumins' Mother from "Konosuba" Vol 5.
-
I like the mom in Erased when I watched it.
Haven't met Megumin's clan yet (read two volumes).
Psycome surprisingly features a decent amount of the mothers of characters up through volume 5
Ryuko's mom in Kill La Kill has the best theme song:
-
I will FIGHT anyone who doesn't agree that Mary from Faraway Paladin is a great mom. :)
I also like Issei's mom (and dad) from DXD. Why, particularly, would be spoilers.
-
What about Yoshikos' mother from Aho Girl. And what about Favourite Sisters in Anime, we have a few LN about a Sister or has Sister in the Title.
-
I could make a giant list but... It'd be mostly NSFW lol

@terrence I swear Hiroyuki Sawano has music that brings out chuunibyou thoughts hidden inside people lol. I love his music. Ended up buying the Re:Creators OST which was hella expensive 40$. I wanna buy the guilty crown OST now. My brother that doesn’t even watch anime loves his music.

Oh yes. Best mom. The battles between the two best characters in that series (Inchou and her mom) were incredible!
I forget if they included the part from the manga where the mom gave Yoshiko a cocktail to knock out her man and seduce him... That did kind of make her more creepy, lol. xD

Best Sawano track. Awww yeah... Yeah yeah... Yeah!
(There's a big fandom that hates his music, but I find it a guilty pleasure, very enjoyable; sometimes you just need to remind yourself not to lose your way).

Mary made sandwiches with her prayers. How can you not like her?
-
@dtta I will give a hearty second to Mary of Faraway Paladin.

The anime mother who stole my heart is Shelley Maycraft from Campanella.

Hmm, based on a visual novel. Guessing we won't get it in English, but maybe something to look into...
I'm surprised we aren't getting more Visual Novel remakes on current consoles (especially the portable Switch). Easy dollars (well, maybe not so easy if they redraw everything in HD, but I'd take digital rereleases with no touch up).

Speaking as a mother of two, best anime mom ever is Kaname Junko, mother to Kaname Madoke in Puella Magi Madoka Magika. Independent, smart, and wise. She fulfills her own wishes; incubators need not apply. Even her daughter finds her scary. Watching that scene in the shelter in Ep 11 when Junko gives Madoka the push to go out into the Walpurgis storm still sends chills up my spine.
And yes, a runner up for best anime mom ever, looking at it from the evil side, is Ryoko's mom in Kill-la-Kill. She is so deliciously evil, isn't she?
Thank you to everyone posting thoughts on this topic. I'll be taking up all the stories you mention. I'm always on the lookout for good moms to enjoy sharing my time with. :-)
