It might be worth checking to make sure you don't have a spare after the email address.

So I noticed after downloading the Outbreak Company Volume 1 Sample in iBooks that I instead got what I assume is the entirety of Infinite Dendrogram Volume 2... I assume it’s either a hiccup in the upload or some kind of promotional thing you guys are trying to pull...
Is anybody else experiencing issue with this kind of thing?
Oh, I did actually follow the link that it gave me from this site for the book, so maybe it’s actually a hiccup with how iBooks and this site interact or something...By the way, I’m not saying that I should get a free copy of OBC for reporting this issue, but if it’s offered than I will take it... and if the people testing for the bug want proof I’m not bsing, than I can go back into my iBooks and take as many screenshots as are needed to get the point from A to B.

Just a small bug i noticed last week, the latest part of faraway paladin hasn't shown up in "Latest", but has shown up when i go to "series".
-
The android app never goes to the last page i was reading even though it logs it. This is happening on multiple different devices of mine. On iOS, it returns to the last page so is this feature missing from the android apps or is it a bug?

Problem: I have an account I use on desktop, which I login using google account. But I cannot login to that account on the app. Is there a way to login using google for the app? If not, is there any plan to implement this?
EDIT: Nvm, found a solution.

Hello! First time posting here. I am using the Android app and I am having an issue where the app no longer tracks my progress. This is pretty frustrating since I can't tell which parts I have/haven't read yet. Is there a work-around/fix for this? I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times with no luck.
-
@commandojones So it isn't just me? The historical data of things I've previously read is there, but anything from the last 24hrs or so isn't updating.
-
@smashman42 My progress hasn't been tracked for months now, but that's the same for me as well. All progress before the issue is still there, but it has not updated anything else since then.
-
@smashman42 Backend and web reader is fine, just checked. Android app was broken for a good while, though.

You can probably try the previous version (which can clog your connection), switch to horizontal mode or an unofficial app.

The unofficial app is doing it too so I assumed it was a recent backend change?
-
@_08 Thank you very much for linking me to the unofficial app!! I had no idea it existed. It works perfectly and I am SO HAPPY that it has a night mode. Thank you so much! I will be waiting on any future updates for the app and hope that it becomes "official" soon. Have a great day :D

@smashman42 App still works. Both pushing and getting updates. Sometimes it won't update the counter on the recent part page until restart due to bugs, but it should update after restart.
If even restart doesn't cause in-app update then it is an app's bug (one I never encountered) because it's supposed to track things offline. Clearing app's data may help in that case.
If it works offline but won't work with JNC servers then I can only suggest opening web reader, pressing ctrl+shift+i, flipping some pages and seeing if /updateReadCompletion calls occur properly on the network tab. -
I'd already tried clearing data & cache for the app & when it didn't work I let it go. In between reading chapters it suddenly fixed itself without me doing anything extra, go figure?
-
For some reason my reading progress in the Android app doesn't update at all. Like if I check back in the app later things I previously read don't change to 100% like it should, it stays at unread.
After noticing this I paid a little more attention and realised the percentage in the part I'm reading doesn't update as I scroll like it used to (I read in vertical scroll mode as often the bottom line of text gets cut in horizontal paginated)
The website reader works properly so I've been using it (and the 3rd party Windows app) to fix my reading progress so I don't forget where I'm at. I have no idea exactly when this started, probably within the last week.
Is it just me? Am I getting weird crap again just cause it's me?
-
@smashman42
That also happens to me with the Android App. Did it ever work on all chapters?
I've only seen it working in the first few parts of a series (the free previews).I guess the app doesn't save the progress when you use vertical mode?
-
@rock3tz No, it doesn't. I think that's because vertical mode is continuous scrolling while horizontal mode is page scrolling. That's my guess, anyways.
-
My Android app also does not update progress at all. It was very frustrating trying to keep track of everything so I switched over to use the unofficial app. That was working great at first but now that has recently stopped working entirely.
The unofficial app stopped showing me the latest releases so I hit the "wipe cache" option hoping that something wasn't loaded correctly. Now it won't load anything at all. I just get a "Loading... Please Wait." prompt just above the setting section. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling as well and I see the same thing.

I'm using iOS 11
With the font scaled up either partly or fully the text will run together and overlap or they text won't even appear unless you scroll and hold the page in between pages then they show up with the next page right above those lines. Even then sometimes there is too much text and you just can't see it unless you scale down the font.
So basically bigger font = bad page scaling and not able to read
