Hello all. A quick question I have to all the fellow IS fans is this: I watched the anime when both seasons originally aired (even watch them again time to time) and it is in my top 10 favorite shows (judge if you like, I have my own likes). Now my question is will I like the LN if the anime was like an 8/10 for me? Does it fill in the plotholes that the anime has? I don't know much about the LN series of it so any explanations on it are great :)

I have not watched the Anime but I would just read it since the anime does not tell the complete story and I heard that MC has a personality in the LN (have not started reading it yet, have so many books to catch up on).

@laurion96 The LN is everything you enjoyed from the anime and quite a bit more. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Conversely, if you didn't like the anime the LN isn't going to change your opinion.

If you gave the anime an 8/10, I'm pretty sure you'd like the LN a lot better, it does fill in some of the blanks that the animation had, and the MC is not as dense as he was in the animation.

Thank you for all the replies. I did greatly enjoy the anime so I will pick it up after reading some other series lol. Thanks again.

One thing you'll find interesting is Ichika's inner narration, which is mostly cut in the anime.

@village-idiot Inner narration is mostly cut in a lot of anime I think.
