Light Novel Collection & Haul
-
Finally set up additional shelf so all my LNs are in one place now.
-
@Wellwisher What language are the SAO and Re:Zero (Oh and Overlord, didn’t realize they weren’t Yen Press at first) books? Great collection btw :)
-
@Wellwisher
Hmm, apparently, the entire lower shelf was not actually published in North America. They fail to meet the ANSI directive for the direction of titles on the spine of books, which is also followed by Canada, Mexico, and the UK (suprisingly).
Most of the top shelf clearly was, though.
-
@LegitPancake Thanks! The majority of the books on the lower shelf are LNs and japaneese novels published in russian.
@piisfun Old local standarts actually recommend putting titles on the spines bottom-to-top. Don't know why.
-
@piisfun The publishers shown on the lower shelf appear to be Russian.
-
@piisfun Other than J-Novel’s releases of FMP/Crest of the Stars, For My Daughter, and 7S’s Lodoss War, of course :P
-
@Timmaaah good to know. My last order with BD was really long ago. But I need to search for an alternative to Amazon as they are usually not good in packing this stuff (which is dissapointing if anyone still remembers the good old times where they nearly only had books and used this stretch foil to secure books).

Thats a great thing for LNs I think, since LNs have multiple volumes going from 1-10 means you're going top to bottom when you turn your head to read the title as opposed to our way of going from the bottom to the top. On that note english Konosuba volumes are the best as the title reads top to bottom.

My newest addition to my anime collection:

It's time to bring this thread back to life and since I won't get any new light novel volumes this year, here is my J-Novel Club light novel collection 2021. Currently I have 50 light novels (and another 4 preordered):
And my newest manga and fanbook/artbook/guidebook addition which I got to my birthday in november:
-
Merry Christmas to everyone!!!
Here is my Christmas haul. Got the manga adaption of The Apothecary Diaries and the next volumes of the manga adaption of Bibliophile Princess and Isekai Yakkyoku. And because I totally love Infinite Dendrogram I got the manga adaption of it.
Lastly I got a manga I really like but is better suited for an adult audience, but has a very interesting world building and story. It somehow reminds me a bit of World of Warcraft.
I'm a bit lazy right now, so please forgive me, if I post the photos I already made for my instagram account:There are still 5 volumes of two different series which haven't arrived, I will post photos of them, as soon as I get them.

Before I forget it, here are the volumes, which arrived late:
-
@Liber-Monstrorum The face of the girl in the first image is, quite refreshingly, shocked, which for some reason looks hilariously out of place.
-
@piisfun She is the villainess, who has memories from her previous life and to save herself and for some other reasons, she tries desperately to act like an evil noble lady to get the heroine and the prince (her fiancé) together, which... well, yes, doesn't work very well, because the prince is much too interested in her. It's a very fun story, I can really recommend it.
