Author: Ayasuke Nakanomura
Illustrator: Mahaya
Publisher: TakarajimashaSynopsis:
Kamishiro Kanna was summoned to another world to be a hero; but the one who summoned him was a scheming princess. When it was revealed that his mana measurement showed 0, he was put in prison. Together with a half-elf big-breasted silver-haired bishoujo he met in the palace's prison, they escaped riding a dragon that she summoned.
The thing Kanna didn't know is that 3 days after his escape from the palace prison, the princess did another summoning and summoned 3 high school students, which happen to be his close friends.Yes, it's another isekai so lots of people will probably scoff at it. :) But I found the premise fairly interesting and liked all the summoned characters. The fact that his newly found companion was doing the heavy hitting while he himself is not exactly the most powerful is an added bonus. Of course, I don't really know what happens later, quite possible that he will become op. I'd be content enough with a fan translation, but unfortunately it seems the translator dropped it.

I can't find this one digitally on Bookwalker. Physical only? =[
I think this is the Narou page:

I think it is best that you at the very least copy-paste the synopsis and maybe a bit more on why you want this specifically.
-
@drone205 Fine, I edited it but isn't the synopsis a bit redundant when there's a link to LNDB? And to be honest I have never been good at explaining why I like or dislike books. I like it because I find it interesting is my usual response. :)
-
I don't put synopses (mainly because I don't fully read them out of fear of spoilers for more than half the book; better to even Google Translate the first few pages of the Narou to get an idea for the story), but I do think with a whole thread, you kind of have to sell the series.
With this one, the appeal seems to be in the setup. I did look at the synopsis, it's a hero summoning followed by
I like the art. Sometimes that's enough to push it over the top for me. =]

well, This is more for having all the info on this post. It is worst if you have to go to multiple places to get all the info for a series. the bit about why you want it not really that required but it helps get up-votes (passion is attractive).

@terrence So I would have to go gushing "OMG this is so great, everybody read it!" ;) For me the first appeal is the characters. Here I really liked the way mc is fairly down-to-earth with brains and judging by the glimpse we get from his friends, they are pretty much the same. Would love to see the whole group dynamic if they ever meet up again. But if I don't like the mc then the story really doesn't matter to me. For example, after reading the synopsis I thought Lazy Dungeon Master might be interesting but after reading two parts I quickly changed my mind.
By the way, is the Google Translate giving decent results then? I think I tried to translate some japanese with it way back and got rather incomprehensible jumble of words. :) -

It depends on the simplicity of the language + ideas in the book. It butchers names and various other things, but you can get a sense of the actions + movements.
Looking at the opening Google Translate for the Narou of this one (come waste time with me, or read the final paragraph I write to get the TLDR about what I get out of the first 8-9 paragraphs):

I use Google Translate just to get a sense for the story instead of reading a synopsis, because, again, they spoil. Sometimes I call it reading, but it definitely is not. Occasionally you do get amazingly readable paragraphs though.

@terrence Thanks for the explanation. Yea, this is definitely more of a guessing game than reading. :)

Spotlight time! A friendly bump to an older post that hasn't had any recent conversation and is lower on votes in order to draw attention to it.

Anyway, i was planing to start another series and i was checking "novelupdates" 's "best isekai series". After Mushoku Tensei(5th on the list), i saw this one(7th). Why someone should read this ln, could you tell me about it, if its not a problem.
