Nonbiri VRMOO-ki / Relaxing VRMMO Chronicles

@myskaros Wish it didn’t have a lolicon aspect, but everything else sounds great with this and if the lolicon stuff is played for laughs I’m a lot better with it (after all I think Siskan is pretty damn funny)
-
@the-green-death Yeah, it's completely harmless and played more for laughs, and the characters themselves know how ridiculous they are. Think of them more like a secret idol fanclub. Like how in high school stories sometimes the popular girls have fanclubs; they're not all trying to get in the girl's pants, it's more of an admiration thing :x
-
@myskaros Cool, then I’m 100% down for this!
-
But how prevalent is the food in this series?
Sorry but J-Novel Club does not publicly comment on any potential licensing decision or acquisitions.

@rahul-balaggan Not enough to call it a foodie LN, but like every other manga chapter has Tsugumi making some kind of fancy dish.
Whoever said nothing's impossible never tried slamming a revolving door.

Anything (VR)MMO LN series is an instant up-vote for me!
-
The manga is nice, I would support getting ahold of this one
-
@myskaros well you already know as long as it’s not food heavy it will probably be considered by JNC...
-
I loved the Manga and therefore am all for this. The Latoli is just hilarious and its so much fun to read!
-
A very relaxing novel and good to read. This one has my vote.
-
Upvote ALL the fluffly slice-of-life series! (Especially the VRMMO ones!)
Edit: Okay, I checked out the manga adaptation and now I want this even more. It's super adorable and plenty of fun, and the girls' fanclub is hilarious. Definitely one I'd like to see picked up!
-
I love gaming and especially gaming novels. You have my upvote!
-
Another gaming novel I really would like to read.

I'd love it if J-Novel could get both the LN and Manga of this series. It's just too cute to stay Unlicensed.
(Hope it's alright I posted even though this thread's been dead for so long. I just found it and wanted to support the license of this series.)

Sadly, Alphapolis is the publisher. That is effectively a death knell to any hopes of a liscenced translation.
Otherwise I would probably check it out too...
-
@Demonskid I don't think the manga is licensable anymore given that alphapolis is already releasing it in english under the title "A Diary of Our Leisurely VRMMO Playthough"
-
Premise is that if you are underaged you cannot play game without adult accompaning you. This is why Tsugumi is with them. Players are also not allowed directly engaging with girls or they risk ban.
As it is already said it is harmless. It is quite relaxing to read. There is nothing grandiouse, just standard slice of life but in game.
-
That sucks. Gives reason to why everything says "Not Licensed" but also why the fan-scans hadn't updated it in a long time. Shame. Thanks for the information.
There was another manga I enjoyed that I had hoped to get an official license that had this happen to, and their translations were dreadful. RIP Nonbiri.
Hope someone can get the light novel at least then.
-
Bummer.
I'll admit to having been following the scanlation at one time, and really liked it.
It's silly yet has a solid storyline, iirc.
I'd be all in for the LN. -
