Chuuko demo Koi ga Shitai!
synopsis : Aramiya Seiichi is an ordinary high school... eroge otaku who's given up all hope on girls in the 3D world due to a certain incident. One day, after he's bought a bunch of new material in consequence of experiencing the frustration of a perfect eroge character turning out to be "used goods," he encounters a delinquent-like-looking girl being about to get raped by a bunch of guys. By mere chance, he rescues her. Days later, when school starts again, it turns out to have been his classmate, Ayame, a feared delinquent girl who's got all kind of rumors about her—especially that she's "used goods." And it appears that she's set on becoming his ideal girl to make him fall for her.

If JNC did license this series I wonder what they would change the name too. I don't see them keeping the name as is since its something like "Even a 'used goods' wants to experience love" according to Light Novel Updates. Also pretty good series from what I hear. Only read the manga of it myself but so far pretty good.

@corp20 Considering we have another title on this site called JK haru is a Sex Worker in Another World I don't think the title would be an issue.
-
I darkly remember being interested in it but it had a garbage MTL. Whoever wants my money thrown into their face better license it :P
-
I'm avoiding the MTL like a plague, but I'd sure pick this up. Specially because of that glorious ReDrop art.
-
@eternal-wanderer Well that series is a R-18 or whatever the book equivalent is. This series isn't, well at least at the point of the manga and from what I've heard. So I don't think it would help sells have a risque title if it doesn't reflect the series.

It actually isn't.
Re: 中古. Original name is an obvious pun on chu2koi so translated title probably won't be close to literal. It will either be distorted to keep the pun or distorted because might as well change it to proper title if you can't keep the pun. Also, 'used goods' probably isn't even accurate.

I know this is a bit late, but would definitely be interested in giving it a shot. This sounds like the kind of slice of life I can actually enjoy.
As to the title, 中古 does actually equate to used (or second hand). It can also refer to middle aged, but I don't think that applies here. The play on words with the title would be lost on most people anyway because the English version of Chu2koi was changed to Love, Chuunibyou, and Other Delusions. It would be possible to keep the wordplay, but not without a great deal of creativity.
Regardless, I think it sounds like a fun title.

I actually wanted to suggest this but found it in the list, so just giving this a bump, maybe bring some attention to it. The manga is good and the story has a interesting setting, beside that, we really need some more slice of life on the market.
Really hope this will be picked up eventually.
-
I became aware of this do the manga, and have been surprised at how the story handled some things and that got me interested in reading the original light novels, so I'd hope they'd get brought over.
Not sure how they'd handle translating the title of the books though.

Nice. If you can, add that Complete tag (I know there's some posters that only upvote completed stuff or at least prioritize those). =D

This series feels a lot like Oresuki and Oregairu but with a more likeable MC. It's pretty good and would definitely make for a successful license. The fan translations stopped about three years ago with only the first two volumes translated, but it was very well received so I think an official translation would be profitable. If they give it a good English title I think it could easily rival other big slice of life school romance series' too. Also, it appears to have concluded this year so there's no need to worry about the consistency of the publications.
Definitely worth considering this one for JNC.

I must’ve just missed the flood of high school rom coms ...I admit some of my favorite anime are but I just don’t seem to encounter LNs that are. Maybe because lately most of my consumption is via JNC and they don’t have any in this genre. I’ve upvoted most suggested titles in this genre, 13 volumes and complete makes this even more attractive.

This one has my support. I've read a bit of it before. Was interesting enough and you really gotta love how forward the main heroine is.
-
I'm reading the manga but so far the times it made me infuriated outnumber the times I truly enjoyed it. Maybe the LN is better?
-
Randomly read the manga somewhere. This is interesting an interesting romcom, hoping again for a miracle.
