This site is lacking in Green Haired lead gals. So I nominate this by Hobby Japan:
魔王学校に俺だけ勇者!?
Only I am a brave man to the Devil 's School! What? -
I believe I once read a synopsis about an isekai (as usual) where the guy got reborn as the demon lord and built his demon lord's castle to wait for the heroes to show up. After hundreds of years of no one coming up to him he realizes that the humans are so fucking weak he'll never get to fight the hero. So he decides to disguise as a human and raise a hero party to challenge him. I remember thinking that premise was quite good... Though it could work just as well as a regular fantasy instead of an isekai but still, it sounded fun. I wish I could remember what was the title. I'd certainly like to read it.
-
@paulnamida Isekai or not, that does sound interesting.
-
I don't really know about this licensing buisness, but it seems Kadokawa's title is hard to get. I was really hoping Gamers to get licenced but i guess it's not easy.
I'd be happy if this gets licensed.
Jaku-chara Tomozaki-kun

I'm rooting for this one to get picked up too. =]

@cleveravi I’m surprised it’s just a single volume that came out less than a year ago, and it’s already getting a 12 episode anime. They must be adding a bunch of anime original material or something.
While the first volume of the Märchen Mädchen manga has only just come out (and is visually disappointing), the LN is already at 3 volumes.

Have you guys thought about adding tragedy?
Mismarca Koukoku Monogatari
Or
Alderamin on the Sky

I'm hoping for 86 (from some pub, not necessarily JNC). I hear that one is good and a bit tragic. But I'll take either of those you posted. =]

Mismarca Koukoku Monogatari
I picked up this series by the same author. I'll check it out at some point.
-
@terrence 86 would be a nice pick up, and it's only started recently so we'd be up to date in no time. Also Mismarca, I keep hearing good stuff about this series but there's no translation around.
-
@glisterasia I would be interested in Alderamin as well. I thought the anime was pretty decent - at least decent enough to make me interested in the source material.
-
My wishlist or sorts:
Alderamin of the Sky - seconded, watched the anime and it was interesting enough to make me want to read the original.
Also, are novels by Koroku Inumura generally good?
I read fan translation of his The Princess and the Pilot (とある飛空士への追憶 To Aru Hikūshi e no Tsuioku and I thought it was quite good. I know that he wrote quite a few other LNs set in the same universe. -
I would like to recommend Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu Light Novel and the sequal Nogizaka Asuka no Himitsu.
-
@durask The Pilot series would be awesome if the author could write a decent ending. Remebrance's was fine I guess, but Serenade's is plain horrible. Give me some friggin' conclusion!!!
-
I'd like to see Gun-ota ga Mahou Sekai ni Tensei Shitara, Gendai Heiki de Guntai Harem wo Tsukucchaimashita!? translated. The LN is already up to volume 12 right now: http://lndb.info/light_novel/Gun-ota_ga_Mahou_Sekai_ni_Tensei_Shitara,_Gendai_Heiki_de_Guntai_Harem_wo_Tsukucchaimashita!
The web novel is currently complete with 25 volumes/420 chapters + 24 side-story chapters.

Am a big fan of light novels about anti-heroes or betrayed heroes with harems. Here are my top 5. Arifureta is my favorite (thank you J-Club for licensing it). To Deprive A Deprived Person is #2. Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi ~ Sokushi Mahou to Skill Copy no Choetsu Heal is #3. Nidome no Yuusha is #4. And Rising of the Shield Hero which has been licensed.
-
@followernumber1 As much as I love Kaifuku Jutsushi, I doubt it'd get licensed by anyone any soon. Too risque.
-
@followernumber1 Those Light novels are certainly good, since I read some of the fan-translated versions and/or the manga adaptations, yet Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi is not one of my favorites. I admire the Protagonists drastic personality change through their tragic experience and vow vengeance, but not so when they become no different than scummy characters with no moral values or principles that they live by their own will.
-
@kite-xx MC is a broken man, after what he's gone through I can't blame him for ending up like that. It's certainly a lot more realistic than forgiving them all. And you can't say he has no principles, he won't take revenge on anyone that hasn't slighted them... then again, he actively baits them into threatening him so yeah, but he's only done that for the ones he's already seking revenge because of the previous timeline. Those heroes deserved what was coming to them. It being brought by the one they abused to insanity is pure unbridled karm.

I don't disagree with this statement, but it still comes down to whether that is a story I want to read D: I was mildly interested in seeing what happens, but if it's going to be what @Kite-XX said, I'd take a hard pass.
Obviously nothing against anyone who does want to read it, but more like I'm just sympathizing with Kite :x

@paulnamida American novels that are drop dead erotic get published, why not bring the same over from Japan?
