Novel pick-up requests

@eins well, that wasn't really a problem, since the Doni/Melqart arc wasn't shown until vol. 11 or so. Even in the novels, Doni was introduced during the Perseus arc and their fight was referenced a lot but never shown until much much later. The problem I had was episode 1 which condensed the whole friggin' vol. 3 and completely butchered it to add some fanservice, making Erica seem like she fell for Godou out of nowhere, and rushing through the volumes to cover 5 in around 10 eps so they could add that shitty anime original ending, when they could just cover those very same 5 volumes throughout the whole season, giving it more time to breathe, and still have a coherent story. The Murakumo battle was pretty darn good point to stop the plot.

JNC hasn't done a mecha series yet. At least not that I've read. I'm not counting Elexis' numerous creations in Rokujouma or the manned (womanned just sounds so awkward) monstrosity in Bluesteel Blasphemer.
Yeah, I know in this era of isekai, mecha is dated, but still, surely there's one title that isn't owned by Kadokawa.
Alphapolis published (I think JNC hasn't gotten in the door there yet?). This is one volume, and it came out last August.
Hayakawa Bunko?
IDK if this is Mecha, but it is GA Bunko
Shueshia (and that's literally everything in my wishlist that is Mecha looking that isn't Kadokawa).
I was thinking the other day, I'd like some kind of dire criminal underworld story too. Like a spy story, such as Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom. Something with death creeping up on the characters, and them being forced to do less than virtuous acts for an overhead organization.

Been seeing a lot of Campione lately here. Great series. If anyone is interested in reading the series, the Light Novel is fully translated. (I've been doing a binge/re-read for the last couple weeks.)

You can buy the Japanese volumes on Bookwalker if that eases one's conscience about reading translations.
-
I'll buy the physical volumes at some point. But Arifureta is draining my import budget. XD
Otherwise, I did a comparison a while back between the light novel and anime in case anyone wants details.
-
@terrence I rarely get into to mecha light novels because it is so hard to picture the mechs and the actions they take in my head.
-
@terrence I am kinda sad, if I could read Japanese I probably would make use of Bookwalker but I am limited to Translations we get :(

I use Google Translation software to "read" some of the ones I've picked up.
I haven't been gungho lately about it though since the third book I tried it with was a bit more intensive (and I carelessly took next to no notes on character information from the early parts, so now I'm a bit confused with who is whom).

I don't know that many Light Novels that involve mecha, only a few through fan-translations like "Magic Robot Aluminare", or my favorite "Knight's & Magic", yet not sure of any Light Novels like those that could be picked-up by JNC.
Still, if isekai series is the main theme to focus on, I at least want a series that isn't ...stereotypical, like similar character traits or personalities, typical cheats or overpowered, general outline of the story, or cliches, etc. Just asking for a good series with its own unique aspect.
-
I love mecha. Keep up the recommendations guys. Hopefully we get one.

My first pick up request. I really want to request the official translation of a special light novel. It's setting is really unique, I've never seen a similar series and it's unbelievable funny. To describe it a little bit, the dog people appearing in the story all have a dog breed name as their last name, like Leonhart von Golden Retriever (レオンハルト・フォン・ゴールデンレトリバー), or Darius von Wolfhound (ダリウス・フォン・ウルフハウンド), or Barbarian von Pitbull (バーバリアン・フォン・ピットブル) just to name a few. They also have a human form and a doggy form, they change through both throughout the story. True to their "mad dog" description, they run rampant in the name of their queen, but it's up to the MC to keep them on their leash. Harder said than done though, which makes for laughs and giggles. Please, please consider to pick it up!!!
Name: Queen, the Mad Dog Knight Order is Prepared for you, so Please Discipline them Harshly
Queen, I prepared a knight group of crazy dogs, so please train with a feeling of death.

You just mentioned in your own post that it's published by Kadokawa, meaning there's little to no hope of J-Novel getting it. You'll have to look to Yen Press.

While there's not much chance of JNC getting a novel from Kadokawa, it's still worth requesting stuff because they could pick up similar titles to your tastes that are available from publishers they work with. At least, that's how one of the other pubs taking requests viewed it when asked on social media (forget if it was Seven Seas or Bookwalker).
The title I still want the most is ZoaHunter.
What title do you guys want the most above all your other requests?

I almost got the first set of these for free from a Bookwalker JP glitch. Alas, glitch was fixed by the time I amassed enough coins.
Apparently the sequel novels are wrapping up with next volume. Must be one long series to have a whole sequel novel set.
-
Ahgg, these Survival / Death Game Lightning Bunko releases on sale on Bookwalker are tempting, but I've got enough books I'll probably never read. I hope someday this Kadokawa stuff comes over.

@terrence Can I request that you at least include a summary of the series? You're just hotlinking images with no explanation and not even a link back to the page you got them from, and a huge portion of the last few pages of this thread have been just that. Those mecha books don't even have a title, it's just "look at the pretty cover." I'd like to be able to say "oh, that series sounds interesting" and support your picks, but I'm typically not in the mood to go image hunting for an indeterminate amount of time just to find out I'm not even interested in that book at all.

It's a bit more work, but I'll try. Reverse Image search still an option for the older posts if you're interested in those works and I don't put the BW link.
I don't like reading descriptions all the time because they can spoil things, which is why I don't always share them, so sometimes I do just go by the pretty covers and genre to choose a series. And I tend to like short series, so if you like 10 plus volume series, I won't be your guy. I'd say 3-6 volumes is ideal.

Also, I've been reading the VN with fanslation, but it'd be nice to have an official White Album 2 release stateside in some form, like these LNs. This is a real world, romance triangle story that has multiple endings in the VN, and it gets really emotional (some people say it's the most "real" visual novel for adults to take in).

It would be nice to have Kore wa zombie desu ka? translated...
I would rate this as a 5 stars novel and, to be sincere, one the best books (for me)
Jnovel could pick this up, right?
