@Jon-Mitchell I agree that this market is untapped. Although, I don't think Sam will look into it because he licensed one series with a highschool setting where people didn't give it a chance because of the anime studio's shitty decisions (Kokoro Connect) and the others I can think of are My Big Sister Lives in a Fantasy World and I Saved Too Many Girls and Started the Apocalypse. Two launch titles that are now over and are loosing popularity. I feel one of the biggest chances we have to get Sam's attention the most is to give these series the love that they quite frankly deserve.

@GodsGoldenPubes said in Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae dake ka yo(The One Who Loves the Great Me is Only You?!): (Kokoro Connect) and the others I can think of are My Big Sister Lives in a Fantasy World and I Saved Too Many Girls and Started the Apocalypse. none of those were straight High school romcoms
they had comedic/romanic elements and might've has high school settings/characters (seems like most LNs do) but all had scifi weirdness that defined them more than being romcoms ...I'm still waiting

Oh my, an actual end. Thankful since series like this do have a habit of dragging on... Or going down a bad route as the author loses inspiration.... Not looking at Sakurasou at all... Honest

I would buy all of these, but first oresuki

is vol 14 the "end" ? do we need to add a 'completed series tag' ? I think this is a feature, not a bug - I LIKE/ will buy series that have complete arcs

I would buy all of these, but first oresukiI must admit, Sakurasou and Haganai are ones which I think enough know the ending that they would be a hard sell....just my opinion on having read the series

@custodes said in Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae dake ka yo(The One Who Loves the Great Me is Only You?!): Sakurasou and Haganai Are they bad endings? I enjoyed the show but haven't tried to spoil it for myself.

Not bad, but you can tell the author lost their moho or passion for the series.
The best example in J Novels current repertoire is Infinite Stratos. If you are a fan and able to read that with relative enjoyment then those 2 are no issue.
In my own personal opinion, yours can be different if you read them yourself, Sakurasou is about a 7/10 by the end of last volume.
Haganai was a 6/10. By the second to last.
Prior to these milestones, I rated them significantly higher.

really want this licensed, the manga was ended on a great note, hopefully the light novel also will

Kinda hoping Seven Seas grabs this. And don't worry, I never get too high on these kinds of wishes / hopes, and I'm usually pretty happy with what gets licensed these days overall, but it still would be nice to see this one.

Ok, after watching the anime and ova, I can safely say that if I dont get to finish this series on, I will die with regrets. Jnovel club pls work your magic UwU

@theredjet random question: why “the Great Me” in the title? It’s not like the Japanese even says “ore-sama”.
-

I wouldn't exagerate if I said that nothing would make me happier than to read the licensed Oresuki novel. It is my deepest desire and the absence of it is making me taciturn and melancholic.

 @ダッシュ I agree with you.

@henrique-valença-fzy1djf Bench-kun is the best waifs for this series
