Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae dake ka yo(The One Who Loves the Great Me is Only You?!)

This series looks really interesting. It seems to be ok with taking several tropes and giving them a “twist”. And apparently it’s getting an anime soon. I wouldn’t mind seeing this novel series get licensed in English.

@ironman628 but the problem is its from Dengeki Bunko so only Yen Press have some chance to get it but they already paid dor Bunny Senpai and Seven seas have slight chance too but its is Highschool RomCom and they are not that well received for some reason

I will never understand Japanese obsession with high school drama.

I always figured it was because so much of Japan (or at least the anime-consuming audience) is stuck in soul-draining office jobs that they romanticize their high school days and want to watch stuff that takes them back there, but that's just my guess.

That's partially why people like Isekai too I think. It's the escape from the crushing reality of life.

cover for vol.12 releasing October 10th

I really hope we get this one stateside. Anime so close though, debating watching it before reading.

@terrence its from Dengeki Bunko so Publisher so far who can get this Are Yen Press and Seven Seas but Yen Press doesn´t wasnt to licence series that have 10+ vol. and Seven Seas have only Toradora and Boogiepop so I don´t think this could gert licenced unless miracle could appear :D
-
Prays for miracle. 🙏

Seven Seas was also looking to hire more Light Novel translators very recently, so I think they're expanding their operation.
But I won't assume anything regarding the viability of this one. Just gonna hope (and maybe send it in the Seven Seas survey).

@caramelwithoutthesalt I am talking about Light Novels here, if you check series they licenced it recent years all series had less then 10 vol. or even less when they licenced them
Example : Death March Rhapsody licenced at 8th vol.
Re:Zero licenced at 8th vol.
That Time I got reincarmated as a slime at 9th vol.
Goblin Slayer licenced same year as it came out in Japan
So I am Spider s what at 5th vol.
Basically you can deduce their range, they won´t go beyond 10+(there are series that have 10+ vol. that deserves to be brought to West but still nothing)In 2014 they licened few series that have 10+ vol. but after that nothing -

Watched the first episode of this one's anime today and it's sold me on this series.
-
Really hoping this gets licensed.
I just finished binging the manga, and I need more Panji in my life!
I still can't read Japanese worth a damn.
-
Manga is approching ending of Vol.2 of LN.......SOO GOOOOOD!!!!!!! it is

I'm still praying that this gets licensed in English. Hopefully, the anime will help things along and either JNC, YP, or Seven Seas can pick it up for us. Seven Seas does their licensing suggestion survey every month. So if JNC can't do it, maybe one of the other pubs will. Fingers crossed
-
Very good first episode! I really want to read this now!
-
Don’t forget to utilize the monthly Seven Seas licensing survey that they have to suggest this series. Also, dropping an email to YP wouldn’t hurt either. Hopefully these publishers will start letting JNC get some of these licenses too, especially if the others aren’t going to license them.
