Now that I think about it....Isn´t this series a Gold Mine for Translators?!?
The Shortest volume have 543 pages and the longest have 1160 pages!! -
From the synopsis, this does not look like something I would read willingly.
-
@zing me too but from curiousity i give it a try and don t regret but that summary doesn´t tell you nothing what it is really about

@theredjet And also the side stories which were bundled with the BD. Although I assume for this it would be even harder to get a license.

Somebody asked Sam and his answer was
Possible but often annoying because the rights situation are different than the mainline novels. Depends who paid to create them

Spotlight time! A friendly bump to an older post that hasn't had any recent conversation and is lower on votes in order to draw attention to it.

Necroest of necro bumps.
50 odd volumes of index and I've realized there's a homely feeling to these especially long series. Of course, the same goes for Rokujouma , so I hope one day this is added
....Even though there's realistically less than 1% of 1% a chance. Maybe just 1% if Horizon's all that's being focused on.

Posted a comment here back in 2018, I think it was the only reason I made this account. I'm still eagerly waiting for this to get picked up by anyone. Recently I visited Japan and sadly I couldn't find the 1st volume on the stores I went, but I'm willing to pay any price for an ofticial translation which can also funnel some income to Kawakami

I would love an official translation of this series. I would even consider paying it's own separate membership subscription plan worth it.
-
@Seandrake That's the only business model I could see succeeding is like a patreon model where as long as there are enough patreon subscribers parts keep getting translated, but...

@admin given what an undertaking this could be maybe releasing one of the prequel series first as a proof of concept would work.
Clash of Hexennacht is 4 volumes, complete and works as a self contained story I believe, so even if only that was produced at least you have something to show for it.
It would maybe work as an introduction of the author and the world he created, so as to get people who have never heard of the series interested.
