I wonder what happened. There's also a third (not licensed) title that's changing publisher, too.
-
Wonder how this will affect the current English licenses.

Newly added titles (Yen On):
If the RPG World Had Social Media
The King of Death at the Dark Palace
Children Who Chase Lost Voices from Deep Below
5 Centimeters per SecondOnly one I didn't know what it was about and couldn't find an English info link for. Here's the description, from BookWalker for If the RPG World Had Social Media, machine-translated;
On his memorable 16th birthday, the brave man is woken up on social media by his mother and goes < straight to chat talk with the king.
He hears about the captive princess's whereabouts in the chat and sets off to defeat the Demon King, but the Demon King, who declared war on the chat, is a girl who is not good at interpersonal interaction ......!
Interesting chat with unique characters and disappointing heroes, including a shy demon king (girl), a four-tenant king who dotes on the demon king, and a yuri princess who is attracted to the demon king!
A collection of everyday short stories in Part 1, 55 stories with a number of new stories written. There's also some hollies.Hollies?

Does Seven Seas currently hold licenses from Square Enix?
-
Seriously?
SolSlow Press still can't reliably release new volumes of their current series but they're still licensing new ones?Not to mention I fail yet again to see what's the point of licensing a series (GM Logged) which has been on hiatus for 3 years (and the WN, too, has been on hiatus for at least 1 year). I was actually interested in the other 2 series, but I've lost any hope now...
That said, I've seen a lot of Micro Magazine titles being licensed lately.
-
@Lotteliese They do now.
As of volume 14, Abilities Average will be published by Square Enix in Japan.Also, for questions like these you can just check the OP.
Seven Seas titles are tagged with [SSE]. -

Hollies?
ホロリ... Sad/sentimental stories? But I'm not going to put any confidence in that since I don't know nothing about Japanese social media >.>

Same reason Sam licenses stuff with only a single volume out so far. The license itself is probably cheap.
I've seen a lot of Micro Magazine titles being licensed lately.
MicroMagazine is making a big push this year to dump as much of their catalogue as possible onto the western market. (Regardless of publication status) They've gotten a taste of that foreign money from stuff like Tensei Slime and they want more.

Let This Grieving Soul Retire! Woe is the Weakling Who Leads the Strongest Party
It's a new series by the author of Defeating the Demon Lord’s a Cinch (If You’ve Got a Ringer) so I'm happy, but SOL Press... Well, at least vol.1 will be this year (probably):
Currently available for pre-order.
Available December 28th. -
@Kyon7 so is Defeating the Demon Lord’s a Cinch (If You’ve Got a Ringer) still going to continue or is it a dead series?
-
@Village-Idiot
Honestly I don't have an answer to that. But it seems the author is slooooowly writing the next volume on the WN website. -
-
I'm very happy about the The Apothecary Diaries Iicense, but the other ones don't interest me...
-
Glad to see we're getting Ideal Sponger Life. Love the manga but really eager to dig into the light novel.
-
I'm sooooo happy for Apothecary Diaries. I have been asking and wishing and hoping for it for a long time. I'm also super excited for more rom-coms, and Sponger Life has the politics I've been longing for more of too. All in all, best licensing event for me in a long time. You guys are the best!
