Yikes, not a fan of Omnibus unless it's something special like Rokujouma or Stars. As a collector, I typically like having all the volumes of something go from 1 to End without missing gaps or omnibus volumes.

Yeah, not a fan of omnibuses, either. Especially small 2-volume ones.
Still better than no print version at all, though. -
On top of the Otherside Picnic and Dendro manga omnibus confirmation, it was also announced that Seirei Gensouki will be getting 2-in-1 omnibus LN editions starting in March 2021!

I've never purchased one of the omnibus edition from J novel club, how do they handle the colour images for the second volume?
do they just throw them in the middle of the book where the second volume starts? -
@catstorm In their CoTS and FMP hardcover omnibuses all colour images are in front of the book. Rokujouma paperback omnibuses were announced to be the same, so I guess it would apply to Otherside Picnic and Seirei omnibuses, too.
