ANN released this year's list: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2018-11-23/kono-light-novel-ga-sugoi-reveals-2019-series-ranking/.139859
Ryuo's Work is Never Done was finally de-throned; does anyone know anything about this Sabikui no Bisco series? And excitingly, JK Haru got on the tankobon list! Definitely well deserved. I'm interested even more now in Remake Our Life and the pretty cover for #2 on the tankobon list caught my eye too.
We have 6 out of 10 of the bunkobon licensed and 7 out of 10 of the tankobon licensed.

Bunkobon:
I see Remake Our Life! is 7. ^_^
https://forums.j-novel.club/post/29138Bizarre Love Triangle at 8. That one looks interesting (is it... about someone with multiple personality disorder?).

#4 is that "Shave the Beard, get the HS Girl" one... Again, if I'm reading the title right from Google Translate, which I question very much based on that title, lol. Involves a 26 year old and a JK gal. It has 2 volumes out.

https://www.novelupdates.com/series/i-shaved-then-i-brought-a-high-school-girl-home/That's certainly...some description. Does it trick us to have false expectations? I would think the premise based on that is simply too otakuish to achieve popularity enough to be ranked that high.

Both translations are fairly off with regards to the verb 拾う. There's just not a simple way to express it in English without a degree of ambiguity because of slang usage. Simplest way would be to translate as "pick up", but that's in a literal sense. For example, I picked up my keys.
It happens a lot in translations, and is just dependent on what the publisher decides to go with in order to make it flow in the target language. The title doesn't say anything about bringing anyone anywhere. However, if he brings her home, it's a lot simpler than trying to explain all the exclusions of the verb. Without an official translation (no license listed for this title yet) it could eventually be any number of possibilities.

ANN posted some more of the results.

@terrence How would you guys describe the lasting appeal of Misaka and Kamijou's characters?

Not sure. My fellow podcasters read Index, so maybe they'd be able to explain (they actually recorded an episode on Index recently, but it's not up yet).
I did like (Index season 1 spoilers)
