This ranked 4th in this year's Kono Ranobe, between 86 and Tomozaki-kun, so you know it's going to be a hot property, Sam. Better grab it early.

Ok guys shave your beards when Movember is done.
-
That title and plot synopsis is a bit... Yikes. But I'm guessing it's not as bad as it sounds, the covers don't look bad (look a bit wistful, maybe a little drama mixed in?).
-
@terrence That description, with a bit of drama mixed in, kind of gives me the impression a perverts version of "Ancient Magus Bride".
-
Read the currently unofficial tls, you get my vote
-
The manga started today I hear.
Here's a TV commercial for the light novel that released with the 2nd volume.
-
Lol not trying to get arrested here. That description lol.
-
I'd just like to say that I started shaving like freshman year in high school so this title triggers me.
-
Sounds like this excerpt from an Anime I saw some time ago. Is there an anime out for this?

I don't think so. The manga just got announced (today I think).
Edit: Whoops, wrong manga, lol (that was Bizarre Love Triangle). I think it does have a manga releasing soon though. xC
Edit 2: Yup. Manga is being made / released for Shave the Beard (it might be on a chapter basis).

I don't know what I am expecting from that summary. but I am voting this!! the cover artwork already sold me.
-
OK. Just read the Manga and instant love it.
Also me want some warm miso soup... -
Yeah, the covers look nice. Kind of wistful. Which makes the premise and title a bit odd to me. It kind of reminds me of the reaction to "I Want to Eat Your Pancreas" novel.

@sean-o-hara here is a better summary
Broken-hearted and drunk, Yoshida, a 26-years old salaryman, stumbled upon a runaway-from-home high-schooler on his way back from the bar.“Hey, you. JK.”*
“What the heck are you doing out here. Go home already.”
“Uncle, let me stay at your place for the night.”
“You can do ‘that’ to me if you let me stay.”
“If you meant that as a joke, it’s not funny.”
“I’m not joking. It’s fine by me.”
“Then allow me to tell you that I have no interest in brats.”
“Hmm?”
“Then, just let me stay.”
And so, the story of living with the high school girl Sayu began. The slice-of-life romantic comedy between a runaway high school girl and a 26 year old salaryman ensues.
I tried 1st volume + 1st chapter of manga which came out 4 hours ago and BOY!!! LOVE IT and would like to have it licenced now!!!! It is very nice Slice of Life Romantic Comedy
-
@shyevsa It is from the artist who Draw Shichisei no Subaru ( Seven Senses of the Re'Union) that got anime

That sounds more like she invites herself to stay at his place, lol. I guess he lets her stay.
-
The first chapter of the manga was amazing, this looks really interesting. Would love to see this novel licensed.
-
Does JNC have any titles like this? Contemporary setting, slice of life, romantic comedy w/o anything supernatural? Once I read a better synopsis ( that this isn’t about a predator or a 21 jump street scenario ) I became interested. It gets my vote

Not yet. The closest would be Kokoro Connect, but that one has a fantastical element.

@jaquobus Correct me if I am wrong but couldn't From Truant to Anime Screenwriter: My Path to “Anohana” and “The Anthem of the Heart” also be considered in that category? I didn't read that one so I am not positive.
