Top 10 novel licences you wish to see in 2019

@rahul-balaggan Yeah, I probably wasn't clear but I meant its continuation, SukaMoka, which is essential but still up in the air since YP is only at the third volume of SukaSuka. First series is only 6 volumes and hopefully doesn't sell so bad that they don't announce a sequel.
-
@novurdim that makes sense, I didn’t even know there was a sequel.
-
I don't really have a top 10 since I don't really know what's available to japanese public since I don't read the language. :) And most of the licensing suggestions on forum don't sound like my thing. Basically I would like to see anything from Alphapolis get licensed since I've come across at least three interesting series from them so any progress with that publisher would give me some sort of hope.
I can do top 3.- Toaru Ossan no VRMMO Katsudouki
- Nonbiri VRMMOki
- Isekai Izakaya Nobu
-
Hmmm, not exactly 10 but some licenses I would be happy about.
- The Irresponsible Captain Tylor (with all the following books)
- Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear (As I wrote in the licensing wish thread, we need more Slice of life
- Summoned Slaughterer (summoned hero who kills the king on his first visit? Damn count me in. Therer is something really refreshing about a MC which has only his own morals and doesn't step back to enforce them with lethal violence)

That does sound interesting. A different but similar starting was one of the better parts of The Magic in this Other World is Too Far Behind. Unfortunately for me, the series is turning into more of a standard high school harem comedy as it goes on. Not my cup of tea.
-
Chaos;Child Children's Revive and other SciAdv novels would be nice
-
@saskir If Rightstuf ever starts publishing books in addition to Blu-ray’s Captain Taylor would definitely be their thing. The founder is a huge fan and has put money into what are probably low yield passion projects before.
-
@the-green-death I hope for years that someone picks up Tylor. And not like they tease us too much... Like the manga "Love & War" where they write at the end of book 3 that it gets continued in the LN...

- Testament of Sister New Devil
- Shin Highschool DxD

If I was to choose a list of light novels (I have always preferred light novels over a manga adaptation if both exist) are as follows, though in no particular order.
1 - Madan no Ou to Vanadis - King of the Magic Bullet and Vanadis - A completed series, romance, slight ecchi, harem and fantasy. Also a spin off series has just been released detailing an alternative history. I would love to see this translated as well.
2 - Rakudai Kishi no Kyabarurii - Chivalry of a Failed Knight - a nice slightly ecchi series where there is a clear romance from the start. Though I do like Asterisk which came out at the same time (fully buying the Yen Press translation) this was the superior novel.
3 - Seishun Buta Yarou - Rascal does not dream of a bunny girl senpai - a lovely series which has romance (not a theme that is important to me, but I do quite enjoy it), supernatural and best of all has had an anime adaptation which is current and a pending movie.
4 - Hige Wo Soru. Soshite Joshikosei Wo Hirou - I shaved then I brought a high school girl home - A quite sweet series, not as lewd as the title makes it sound. Brand new, 2 novels released so far.
5 - Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance - near completion, last novel about to released. Harem, ecchi, romance, fantasy, and the character illustrations can be described as very "moe"
6 - Tenkyou no Alderamin - Alderamin of the Sky - a nice series, if I remember as well has been complete - the fan translation has never really gotten that far so many who enjoyed the anime are curious how the series continues.
7 - Densetsu No Yuusha No Densetsu - The Legend of legendary heroes - a great series, the sequel still contining. A nice take on low fantasy novels.
8 - Hagure Yuusha no Aesthetica - Ecchi, fantasy, an overpowered main character who is not dense.
9 - Violet Evergarden - Short 2 novel series, had a very good anime series which appeared on Netflix.
10 - Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records - Akashic Records of the Bastard Magic Instructor - I find the series hilarious, the current license holder (Seven Seas) are half wasting the potential.Just my humble 2 pence.
-
Just give me Kino's Journey please. ;_;
-
@kino direct from JNC Curios Cat
-
@rahul-balaggan I'm probably going to import the entire series from Japan soon. At this point I've almost lost all my hope.

Snow White With Red Hair
This was picked up by Viz.
https://www.viz.com/read/manga/snow-white-with-the-red-hair-volume-1/product/5914 -
- A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives / Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi (an underappreciated epic romance)
- To Deprive A Deprived Person / Ubau Mono Ubawareru Mono (MC is the ultimate hardworking dark hero, filled with drama and twists)
- Demon King's Town Planning! ~The Strongest Dungeon is a Modern City~ / Maou-sama no Machizukuri! ~Saikyou no Danjon wa Kindai Toshi~ (A good demon king with the power to create as many women as he wants)
- Demon Fist Daydreamer / Maken no Daydreamer (isekai MC is the non-blood related son of a succubus, love scenes are off-screen)
- Skill Taker's World Domination ~ Building a Slave Harem from Scratch / Isekai Shihai no Skill Taker: Zero kara Hajimeru Dorei Harem (name says it all)
- Highschool DxD (not first place because I know it will almost be impossible to license)
- Magical Technique Department's Swordsman and Summoner / Magika no Kenshi to Shoukan Maou (guy builds a harem to save the world from Cthulhu)
- Nidome no Yussha (betrayed hero MC is as dark as a dark hero can get with a harem of psychos)
- Earl and Fairy / Hakushaku to Yousei (a romance classic)
- Isekai de Skill wo Kaitai shitara Cheat na Yome ga Zoushoku Shimashita: Gainen Kousa no Structure / English name unknown (isekai, MC manages to strike out on his own with the power to alter skills while class is duped into becoming hero slaves)

These are my Picks and I guess they'll be from most wanted Licenses to Least Wanted Light Novel Licenses going from 1 the Most wanted -10 the Least wanted!
1.) Majo no TabiTabi- Read the First chapter of the Manga and little bits of the Light Novel online, really enjoyed it would like to see it get Licensed especially since it's a more of an
"Emotional-Player" as in expect to see lots of different themes and feelings be covered and expressed!
2.) Shikkaku Mon no Saikyou Kenja- This series simply for the fact that it comes off as a blend of Silliness and Action of course based only on the Character Designs and some of the LN Illustrations for me at least could be wrong though as I honestly still haven't really read the Series but still a want!
3.) Kenshi Mahou 9999- Read the first 10 or so chapters of the Manga LOVED IT, A Little 9 year old girl goes to a school to become a Swordsman instead is "forced" to become a Magician, OP MC, Action, Silliness and most of all it can be so adorable at times!
4.) Chuuko Demo Koi ga Shitai- Fun series personally enjoyed it not sure I can say much about it honestly speaking but definitely a Series I believe deserves to get Licensed!
5.) Maou-sama no Machizukuri- Another series I honestly haven't gotten around to reading but gives me the same vibes as 'How Not to Summon a Demon Lord' LN which I did read and liked so definitely up there as a Series I want Licensed!
Last 5 I'll just list them seeing as how it's more just okay to least Favored territory!
6.) Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear
7.) Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi
8.) A Wild Last Boss Appeared
9.) Choujin Koukousei-tachi
10.) Kujibiki Tokushou Musou Haremu Ken
That's my Top 10 Light Novel Licenses Wish-list for 2019!
