Title: Chihou Kishi Hans no Junan, 地方騎士ハンスの受難
    Author: Amara
    Publisher: AlphaPolis
    Link (MAL): https://myanimelist.net/manga/88321/Chihou_Kishi_Hans_no_Junan
    Synopsis:
Sick of the trickery in the royal court, former knight captain Hans now serves at a remote station in the countryside. But his peaceful and idyllic days end when some Japanese people with superhuman abilities suddenly show up.

    My thoughts:
I'm sure plenty of people will take a look at this, roll their eyes and say "another isekai". :) While technically true, there is something of a twist. The main character is a native, not reincarnated or transported. He's just a provincial knight trying to live a quite life in a peaceful province when all those overpowered japanese people start popping up and creating a mess. Oh, and no harem as far as I can see, at least not for the mc.
Checked out the manga and it's quite amusing, but I really prefer to read novels. Manga is probably leaving things out (like they usually do) or doing things differently. While the chances of this getting picked up are rather slim (see publisher), I wanted to have at least the topic out there to indicate some interest. Perhaps it amounts to something when someone actually manages to breach Alphapolis' walls.

  • Ok reading the details makes this one sound really fun. I’d totally be down

I've actually been wanting exactly this kind of story, where the other world native meets with and has to deal with isekai'd people, so this is an easy upvote.

Now just to wait for the Great Wall of Alphapolis to fall...

I enjoyed the first 3 volumes of Defeating the Demon Lord's a Cinch (If You've Got a Ringer) -- it's from the point of a native who is tasked with leveling up the summoned hero so they can eventually take on the demon lord. There are of course some twists....
