The last book was published in 2017 and I couldn't find any news on future volumes.
Since Overlaps started publishing the manga version it seems unlikely that the series was stopped, but there's at least a book worth of unused WN material, yet no new book. Does anyone know what happened?

Do you like badass op loli who let nobody got in their way ?
      Do you like vengeance story?
If so then then vote for The girl who ate a death god

I doubt there's enough WN content for another volume, as Sam has said multiple times that the problem is that the author is suffering from writer's block, or doesn't know how to conclude the story. It also doesn't look like the WN has been touched since September 2017...

@legitpancake Maybe the author is dissatisfied with it and that why it wasn't used but what's label as chapter 4 wasn't adapted in LN and is 38 parts long so more than chapter 1, 2 and each half of chapter 3.

Well even if it takes years I’d like a conclusion.

Dissatisfied with the direction the WN went in and not sure how to reconcile that with the LN sounds like Watafuta, which also hasn't seen a new volume in a couple or three years.

It's a pity, because The Faraway Paladin is an excellent story.
