ShoujoSynopsis:
Lady Bertia, who’s become my fiancée, is a bit odd. On our first meeting, she proclaimed herself a villainess noble girl who’s been reincarnated and said that she’s working hard every day to become a splendid flower of evil that’s elegantly put in her place.
I don’t get it. But she entertains me because I don’t understand. That’s why I think I’ll observe her for a while.
This is a story of a crown prince who’s so talented and handsome that he’s grown bored of his easy-mode life. A story of this prince observing a self-proclaimed villainess noble girl (who seems perfect at first but is a bit off) who’s become his fiancée as she snatches flags and breaks them into pieces.
Why:
You can think of it as Bakarina from Jeord's perspective, but complete in 2 volumes with no harem, no endless stretching of the plot and no deus ex machinas. There's also a definite and rather thought-provoking ending to the serie.
-
Based on the premise, I'd be up for trying it if the writing is any good.
-
Sounds super fun! Too bad it's Alphapolis...

Is it hard to negotiate with them or something?
I really like this title too, plus it's already completed so easier to get into.
-
Interesting concept, finished in two volumes with a conclusive and thoughtful ending? Yes please!
-
@harunachiep If I remember correctly Alphapolis has refused to license anything overseas or something for some reason

They literally do not have an international licensing department, and anyone who asks is simply shown the door.
They've licensed out 3-4 manga, one of which was GATE to Sekai Project who have completely dropped the ball on it, so I would assume they're not really clamoring to deal with more foreigners. If you want to break down The Final Fortress, encourage people to buy Re:Monster and the coming-soon The New Gate, as well as Tsuyokute New Saga in French (if that's a thing you do) (dunno if it's being released in any other languages, but I'm like 95% certain I saw it at fnac when I was last in Europe).
-
@myskaros Never knew that thing about Sekai Project until I searched about it now. But thanks for the insight on the situation.
Guess this is just one of those wishlist to read until I learn the language itself at this point.
-
Ah, I didn't know a suggestion thread for this novel already exists, I would have made one myself otherwise. Definitely upvote!
-
Would also love to see this licensed
