@lily_myne Alpha Polis sadly doesn’t seem interested in licensing internationally, but man, if they ever do, I would throw a brick of money at this.

Apparently, the GATE manga is available in the Kindle format by Alphaplois, and the first 3 volumes were released 2 weeks ago.

So One Peace Books announced they have the license to the manga. Here's hoping someone like SS or JNC eventually manage to break through the Alphapolis wall to get a Light Novel.

Would love to see this getting licensed!

I have read a fan translation up to volume 5 or so and really liked it, but the translations after that are so bad that it is not worth it.

Would definitely love to see the novels and/or light novels get licensed.

Also, for the record, as of Nov 2023, this series has 17 hardcover novels with covers by Daisuke Izuka:
5 main story volumes of GATE SEASON 1
5 side story volumes of GATE SEASON 1
5 volumes of GATE SEASON 2
2 volumes of GATE 0

These were later split in half and turned into pairs of softcover light novels with illustrations by Kurojishi, giving us a total of 30 light novels as of now:
10 main story volumes of GATE SEASON 1
10 side story volumes of GATE SEASON 1
10 volumes of GATE SEASON 2

Presumably we will get a 4-volume light novel version of GATE 0, but that hasn't happened yet since the hardcovers just came out.

Ah, this series was great...but it's yet another Alphapolis title that won't get an EN translation anytime soon.

I would also love to read an official English translation. The novel is great! Also, it would be great to have this in print as well.
