Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest: Volume 11 release date?
-
I dont see any chapter releases on the site or a preorder option on amazon with release date info. Whats the deal? I think it was like this for vol 10 as well.
-
@coldbid
Volume 11 has still not been released in Japan so it it's only normal for it to not have any release date for the English version. -
This post is deleted! -
And Volume 10 part 9 (out of 12 parts) has been posted just today. Apart from volume 11 not even being out, they're currently working on volume 10 still...
-
It looks like a new book comes out on Sept. 25th, but it is going to be a collection of short stories, most of them the bonuses from buying from certain stores, but will also have some new ones. At least according to the author's last After Story update put up on the 22nd.
-
is there still not a date for vol 11?
-
@mr-otter no, Over-lap only releases new volumes 1 month before, so we can say it will not be coming out in January.
They should announce February titles shortly after the new year.

Looks like it will be a few more months before Vol. 11 comes out. Arifureta Zero Vol. 4 comes out on Christmas, and in the After Story updates the author is not working on novel publication atm like they were a couple of months ago. Normally there is a break on the weekly After Story chapters for several weeks when they work on the next LN version.
-
So any update on the release date?
-
Volume 11 at this time does not have a release date set for its Japanese release.

I made another post in the Volume 10 thread for the release date, but that was before Covid shut down Japan and everything started being delayed.
The author also has not said anything in the last few After Story Chapter updates so the normal timeline established by the author, that being them saying when they were doing publication work and when they were done with it so they could go back to weekly chapter releases instead of sporadic, even month long waits between chapters, can not be used.
I am hoping with this weekends chapter they will give an update. Whenever it does get released in Japan that still leaves the minimum 3 month wait before J-Novel can start releasing the translation given the pattern the last 3 - 4 LNs have gone by.
Honestly I will be surprised if we get it this year which kinda sucks hard because the are only 2 books left in the main story. Given there are only about 25 Web Novel chapters left to go , and each book so far covered 15 WN chapters while containing a lot of new material, there can only be 2 books left without adding a mini-arc to an already very solid and imho great ending.
I was looking forward to this series main story translation ending around Christmas/New Year.

I'm so happy since I read about the release date, but I wonder, how long will it take until you can start the translation process?
-
@Kiritsuna Since the series is caught up they need to make a new contract for the last volume alone. Based on other series we'll have to wait at least 3-4 weeks after it comes out in Japan most likely. It might end up being a shorter or longer wait though.

At the Demon Lord´s Castle, Hajime and his friends finally confront the enemy!
-
@Terabyte Thanks for answering ^.^ it's still less than I thought it would
-
@Rahul-Balaggan I thought volume 11 came out today in japan?
-
Yes it did, the comment you responded to was posted by me before the date was finalized.
Just a few posts below that I responded that a date has been set (that date being today)
-
@jjch102296 Yep, here's the Bookwalker JP link: https://bookwalker.jp/deb97dbacd-7d12-4c17-b8f8-4b6220a2aa03/
Will probably take a month or two for J-Novel Club to license it, and then another 3-4 to translate and publish it. Seven Seas has a tentative paperback preorder for volume 11 in February, but I honestly doubt that will be the final date.

@Rahul-Balaggan Given the freaking cliffhanger that ended volume 10, this is torture.
