So, was wondering if anyone knows some site similar to BookDepository.
I have been using it for a couple of years now. Amazon doesn't work for me since I'm from Portugal and though Wordery is similar to Bookdepository, the stuff there tends to be quite more expensive...
If anyone knows some alternatives for it, please share

@Pmf96 I only used rightstuff before and indigo/chapters. I don't know about free shipping for other stores. But Rightstuff gives free shipping to Canada if you spend more than 250 USD lol

Also from Portugal, BookDepository is really the best way to go because of free shipping, even with 3rd parties, Amazon is rarely worth it from what I have seen.

@Paulo27 oh... Always wondered if you were Portuguese cause of the name, nice to finally find out
Was already expecting that would be the case. But was still hoping that it had one :disappointed_relieved:

I don't know where to post this, but Barnes and Noble is having a Buy 2 Get 1 sale on Yen Press titles this month.

I had a Twitter exchange with the B+N Sci-fi/Fantasy page rep, and they determined that all of Yen Press / On's light novels should be eligible for the promotion, so they're being added.

                      https://mobile.twitter.com/BNSciFi/status/884487014132981762

I already got the third one I wanted in Magical Girl Raising Project after that exchange. =)

Barring sales like that, I think I want to get more digital books on services that you can have them read back to you. I mean, digital books are a lot cheaper to begin with, and then I get that added benefit of hearing them aloud while I exercise.

It'd be nice if there were a seller that had Epub format like J-Novel club, since the program I use for that format is perfect.

@Terrence Funnily enough, earlier I was disappointed that LNs weren't apart of the deal. Now that they're being added, I might go for Psycome and a couple pre-orders if they count.

As far as digital, while I tend to prefer a physical book, I've been buying some more titles digitally lately... Like you said, they tend to have better deals and it saves some shelf space. Bookwalker has had some really good deals for manga and lns that I've caved to recently.

The Psycome books were actually always in the deal online. I know because those were my other two (Psycome 3+4). ^,^

Bookwalker also has exclusives now. Combat Baker, and they're announcing a new light novel series tomorrow.

@Terrence Ah, I only tried to get one volume of Psycome, so I wouldn't have known.

Yeah, I used the Anime Man's coupon code and got Combat Baker for a really cheap price. I'm planning on reading a couple other novels first, but I am decently interested in it, and I've seen some favorable first impressions.

Bookwalker seems to be hinting at their next novel having a young (imouto?) heroine/sidekick, and apparently this novel isn't from HJ. Not sure I want to read an imouto series, but we'll see what they have in store.

I'm about a chapter and a half into Combat Baker and really enjoying it. I'm happy to see another place offering Light Novels! I got into them about 2 years ago and just in this time the quantity of titles has risen exponentially. I love it!

There's a coupon for 5 bucks off 15 dollar book purchases on Amazon today that Yen Press keeps posting on social media.

Not eligible on digital purchases though. =(

Yeah, I dunno, I'm not much of a sports manga / anime fan, and not a huge fan of Imouto focused / Moe stuff. But I'll probably give it a try anyways.

@Hakomari Eh, this one isn't as big of a draw for me, although it's interesting to see that it has won some awards. If they have a really good promotion or it gets a lot of good reviews I might check it out.
