@GeorgeMTO Of course, if you tell Amazon "Look, we've been distributing the first volume for months!", Amazon will take the first volume down while they piss-and-moan about the current one...
Edited to add: You know, if you go to tentai's site, it doesn't show a reference to v2. Yes, you can click on a link to it from outside, but going through the site says that v1 is the latest and greatest.
Edited again: Hmm... Book one is under "romance", book 2 is under "high school", and they aren't linked. Methinks they need some website magic performed.

Amazon decided to let Ice Queen 2 through today (March 5), and even attached it V1 and V2 together. Yeah! of sorts.
Now it's going to be fun to watch when they let the rest of the list through. Seatmate Killer 2 in 3 or so weeks...

Every EN publisher needs more website magic performed. They have commented they're working on one I believe, but it's never simple.

Today's the day Seatmate Killer 2 is supposed to be released. Check Amazon, no release. Not entirely unexpected, but...
A curious thing, searching for "seatmate killer" comes up with TWO books. The expected volume 1 of the novel, and a just-released "Turning the Tables on the Seatmate Killer! Vol. 1 (Manga)", published by Azuki.
I wasn't expecting that.

Well, I see covers for volumes 2 and 3 for "World Teacher". Apparently volume 2 is completely translated and volume 3 is almost done. But, sadly, no release dates as of yet. All Hail The New Slow Press!

It doesn't look like a hugely aggressive schedule, so hopefully they can make the dates, it would certainly go a long way in showing that they're in business and moving forward rather than floundering still.

@jpwong it looks hugely aggressive to me considering they have only 1 translator and since 2020 they have only released 13 books in total.

@GeorgeMTO I was thinking that if everything up to WT3 is basically done TL already and just needs the editing it might not be too bad unless the TL also does the editing in which case that does look crazy.

@jpwong no, they do have a separate editor, but they also work on multiple series under JNC (Conqueror and Fake Saint) so it's not their full time job.

Hey, Amazon DOES have v2 of Seatmate Killer! Even released March 31st!
But it isn't listed with any other Tentai books. It says it's published by "PublishDrive", and I had to search differently to get it (search for "turning the tables" instead of "seatmate killer").
So much work to figure out things.
But I can't decide on the manga...

They just announced in discord that World Teacher 2 will release April 30. That matches their road map estimate (April 28) so if it happens, good work Tentai.

...J-Novel uses PublishDrive as well; it's pretty standard these days.
