Coming from this article

The three winning Japanese novels they chose to translate (I'm kinda curious who the translators are) are really interesting. So I thought I'd make a thread about them here.

Wow, that second cover there is one hell of a mouthful of a title.
-
@pcj Yea and the barcode is almost impossible to read.
-
So I took a look at the translation for the convenience store one and was greeted with:
"Welcome, irasshaimase..."
...yeah, they're going to be that kind of translation...
-
@stardf29 Yikes
-
Well, Sumimasen Baka Kohai-san for it not living up to your super sugoi translation expectations.
(That's too bad, but I might check them out later if I have time to kill).
-
@LegitPancake I didn't even realize it was part of the cover's title until you pointed it out!
Anyway, the translations definitely aren't bad. It's leagues better than simple MTL.
Seriously, I'm really curious about these guys. Where the hell did they come from?
-
Honestly, "leagues better than simple MTL" is nowhere near good enough to read by itself. That's like comparing anything in the world to toxic waste. Anything would be better.

looks like to English arm of Qdopp. A Japanese site for posting self written works, fan fiction, forums about anime/LN/Manga etc.
