Paypal as payment method
-
Any chance that Paypal will be introduced for club membership? I presume you do not have it due to Paypal taking cut but I do not mind paying more so you get your desired amount. I do not have credit card because I do not need it and I am too lazy to make one just for this site :)

PayPal does not allow that. According to https://www.paypal.com/ga/webapps/mpp/ua/useragreement-full
No surcharges
You agree that you will not impose a surcharge or any other fee for accepting PayPal as a payment method. You may charge a handling fee in connection with the sale of goods or services as long as the handling fee does not operate as a surcharge and is not higher than the handling fee you charge for non-PayPal transactions.As I posted elsewhere:
@Shiny said in Different Payment Methods of Stripe:https://home.bluesnap.com/snap-center/blog/multiple-payment-gateways/ sets out some of the downsides of having multiple payment providers. That doesn't mean JNC couldn't or shouldn't keep additional payment methods under review, but it helps to explain why they might not have gone down this route already (in addition to particular issues with any given provider which could be a barrier).
JNC get a lot of sales through third party sales so if someone can't get books through JNC they can still get the novels and JNC can still get paid.
JNC will however consider additional payment methods through Stripe once they have their website redesign launched:

What @Shiny said. If you look at the Stripe documentation, that does not include PayPal, but does include methods such as Google/Apple Pay, and many non-US payment systems.

Well, then I will wait to see what happens with Stripe. Thanks for info.

@Sekki you could set up a debit/savings account with its own card and use it (I am in Mexico, and my "Guardadito" card was found valid by the system), a credit card is not iron clad needed.

@chocolatkey Yes it does -> https://stripe.com/docs/payments/paypal

@Hungry-Rahly-h1u3uwh FYI, it looks like Stripe only just added PayPal integration less than 2 months ago (early June), where you responded to a message from 3 years ago.
