      Synopsis (taken from myanimelist)
The story centers around Nyaruko, a formless Cthulhu deity of Chaos (Nyarlathotep) who can take on the shape of a seemingly ordinary silver-haired girl. Mahiro Yasaka is a normal high school boy who is being chased by a fearsome black alien one night, until Nyaruko saves him. She explains that the creatures from H. P. Lovecraft's works are actually races of aliens, and that she has been sent to Earth to protect him from being kidnapped by an alien trafficker. Eventually, Nyaruko and two other Lovecraft-creatures, Cthugha and Hastur, ends up being freeloaders at Mahiro's place.

I remember watching this, it was a hilarious wild ride. Didn't know it had a LN, would love to read it.

“There’s always a story. It’s all stories, really. The sun coming up every day is a story. Everything’s got a story in it. Change the story, change the world.” ― Terry Pratchett, A Hat Full of Sky

Bumping because I would have otherwise made a thread for Nyaruko. Honestly, I feel like this is the kind of series we need to see more of. Plus I'm a huge fan of the anime, and the Kamen Rider homages that are sprinkled in. This is easily in my top 5 for "series I want licensed so bad I would unironically buy several copies of it just to show my support."

This series' second flash anime thing was what got me to look into Lovecraftian stuff. It inspired me in a lot of ways creatively too. It breaks my heart that nobody has licensed it.

One of the most incredibly stupid comedies I've ever seen.

10/10 would rewatch and buy the novels if they were licensed.

I was just going to search for this light novel and I found it on first page lol

I loved and still love the anime a lot.
Truthfully I've not been able to get into the whole Cthulhu myth and stories but this seems to give it a nice comedic spin to it (or at least from what I read once a long time ago) and I would love to see this light novel translated.
