Mixed bathing in another dimension

Hey all. I was wondering if anyone had any information on this series. It's been around 1 year since volume 6 and i haven't been able to find any news on it. I know the author had some problems that caused a delay before volume 6 was released. Any info is appreciated :)

Taking a look at the WN on Syosetu it looks like the author is still writing the chapters for volume 7. The last one "Volume 7 - Chapter 188" was posted 9 days ago (11 November 2020). It might still take a while before they wrap everything up, edit it, and then publish it.

@Paddy8686 The author is still writing volume 7 of the web novel. Once that's finished (should be any time now, judging by the number of chapters so far), it'll probably take something like half a year to a year before the corresponding light novel volume is published, at least judging by the schedule for volume 6 (the web novel version of that was finished early July 2018, with the light novel volume getting published in May 2019). In any case, I wouldn't expect the next volume until summer next year, at the earliest. If I had to get specific, I'd estimate an August 2021 release date (though that's as much a guess as anything).
As for why this is taking so long, Mixed Bathing doesn't appear to have reached the levels of popularity necessary for the author to make a living writing it, and that, combined with him having a family and kids to take care of means writing is probably just a fun hobby for him.
