Her Majesty's Swarm v4

Is there any reason I can't download the just purchased v4 of the above mentioned book? The "read" button in my library shows up but the "download" button is greyed out. I was able to download the other "new book" that I purchased today.

@farmerdad This book is unfinished. It's still translating. You can see its release date is currently set for mid December.
EDIT: Okay, I was just about to close the new tab I had that opened in, and saw it's actually set to publish mid-December 2020. I think it's meant to be 2021, hopefully a member of staff soon sees this and logs it to be fixed. So yeah, you've preordered it, but it does look like an available book based just on that page.

@farmerdad As GeorgeMTO said, this book just started prepublication last week, and it will be released in full in December of this year. Sorry for any confusion!

Well... that makes me... sad. I wouldn't have spent my credit on that book if it wasn't ready. I mean, yea, I'll buy it when it comes out but that gives me a few more months to gather more credits and I would have used this month's credit on a book that's actually readable.

@farmerdad Not sure what to tell you, really; this has been how things have worked here since the company started. Members can read the prepub parts while the book is being translated, and at the same time it goes up for preorder on our site and on various webstores. Once the volume goes through all the normal publishing steps, the final version is uploaded as a premium ebook here and a regular ebook on the webstores.

I was going to just drop this until I read this. Are you telling me that is has been normal practice to announce a product release date as being 1 year before the company actually plans on releasing it? To put it another way, this company deliberately listed a book as being released in December of 2020 when the actual release date is in December of 2021? That is just messed up and misleading.
I purchased the book thinking it had been released last December and I had missed it. There is nothing (I just checked) on the product page that indicates that the book is in prepub except for 1) the date which indicated THIS BOOK was already released and 2) an phrase, "currently publishing," that's ambiguous and could mean "the latest book in publishing" since the date indicates it was released last December.
Instead of saying you don't know what to tell me, you or a company representative should be saying you're sorry that an error you made on the website caused me to spend a credit on a book I couldn't use yet and wouldn't have spent at this time. Say sorry that I have one less book to read this month due to a fault on your end. That's what you should be telling me.

@farmerdad You might want to email their support email, since the book isn't actually out yet, they might be able to unpurchase it for you and give you the credit back, especially if someone typoed the release date and had the date of release a year earlier than what it should have been.

@myskaros was talking about how members can pre-order the book while it's being translates and not about the release date.From what I know all release dates are manually entered in the system so the book being release on December 2020 is definitely a typo and not on purpose.
