        From the FAQ page

Volume X is no longer available? What gives?
Once a volume has been published as an e-book, it is no longer available for pre-pub reading.
Please support the author by purchasing the official e-book!
Or you can sign up for a Premium membership and use your premium credit to download the premium ebook straight from our site!

Membership allows you to read the latest volume being translated (unless there is another "catch-up week"). After the ebook gets published, the volume gets taken down for reading on the site.

That is stupid... So I pay a subscription fee for this site to read the latest translation... but I can't read how the story began?????
Who the hell reads from the middle of the freaking story????

The subscription works better when you have it from when the series started being translated, so you can read all the volumes.

If you were allowed to read everything with the subscription, then you could just get the subscription for one month, read everything, and then not have to pay anymore.

Currently, to catch up, you'd have to buy the previous volumes' ebooks for 6-7 USD each. You could make a suggestion that they give a "catch-up" period for newly subscribed accounts (possibly for a single or few series, or possibly limited to yearly subscriptions to prevent abuse). Though suggestions for new features obviously won't be implemented immediately to help you now.

@hatguy12 They can always take down volume 2? Not enough space on my phone anymore to store e-books..

Having volume 1 more freely available as an advertisement is another reasonable suggestion. The JP publishers might have to agree to that though.

That's also likely something that makes less sense when the site is new, since there'd only be 1 or 2 volumes per series. The site is still fairly new, but maybe it will start to be more reasonable as more volumes get translated.
