Acquisitions Speculation - General
-
That's all for Vertical. Wow, I want I most of this...
-
@hyperion dissapointed
-
@theredjet
What were u expecting? -
^ I expected almost nothing, and got Zaregoto 3. So I'm happy.
I know nothing about Seraph, but I guess that's a sequel series? I... Shouldn't say I'll check it out since I got enough on my plate.
So when is AX? I'm guessing we won't get much announced before then from any pubs (someone said Seven Seas was teasing something a bit ago though on social media? They are doing their giveaway that they promised as well now).
-
@terrence Sakuracon is next month, JNC will be there.

(someone said Seven Seas was teasing something a bit ago though on social media? They are doing their giveaway that they promised as well now).
They mentioned both the giveaway and the fact that they will announce stuff on March, the 1st when they explained more about survey and stuff.
Well, they also said they usually announce new stuff every 2-3 months so yeah~ -
@myskaros
We will finally know what the 5th and 4th titles are? -
@bloodygaikotsu I will post on Discord as soon as I find out. Unless the Code Geass movie is showing at the same time, then... I might have to make a tough decision :X
-
@myskaros I'm worried about the same thing. We should link our senses and separate. I typically post via reddit from panels so it isn't discord.
-
2 new hints just went up on twitter. 3 new titles imminent.
Over the next 3 days, we'll be announcing 3 new light novels.
Here are some hints (one recycled):
"It sure isn't stocks!"
"The free shipping is finally worth it."
"For all the book lovers out there."Stay tuned!
I'd say the 3rd is Ascendance of a Bookworm.
-
Well, if the third isn't a Bookworm then Sam is quite a fabulous troll.
-
@novurdim he just gave away the 3rd one aka Ascendance of a Bookworm
-
Did he verify it? It could also be the bookstore one, which would also be kinda great, either way. :) I'm hoping for Ascendance though, as the translator stopped a while back.
-
Oh man I hope it’s ascendance it would be a pretty big troll if it’s not
-
Free shipping could be several different ones. Whichever it is I'll be happy though!
-
-
The third could be Tatakau Shisho aka Armed Librarians aka Book of Bantorra.
-
@dtta Someone else picked it up where they left off, but it's only 1 chapter per 2 weeks. Hoping it's bookworm too even if it means all the unofficial translations will stop since it will mean we might get a release schedule that won't take 20 years to translate the whole thing.

I haven't continued reading where Blastron stopped, but at a quick glance the quality seems to have taken a dip :( Hopefully Sam isn't trolling us and we get a quality TL at a good pace.

Seven Seas will announce some stuff today/tomorrow, it seems.
Have they said anything about any of them being LN? I'm keeping expectations low.
