 What time does the next hint come out? (I have nothing better to do than wait...)
-

 Although not an exact time the other hints have come out around 2-3 pm EST

 @Rahul-Balaggan Thanks!

 Third hint cc: manga Closed Caption? Carbon Copy? Maybe it is some sort of ASCII Art? Anyway, it is manga.
-

 Maybe it's a manga of one of the previous two, or manga of an already published LN?
-

 Campfire Cooking manga?
-

 I believe it's already been said all three hints are for novels. So this could be the novel version of a manga we already have, like Marginal Operation or Sweet Reincarnation.

 @LegitPancake Oh hey, I think I'd like it if it was Sweet Reincarnation.

 @piisfun said in Acquisitions Speculation - General: cc: manga as you mentioned the common /standard meaning is 'Carbon Copy' (for those who don't know the history; in a type written memo a duplicate would be sent to whomever was "cc'd") so this clue might mean that there is a Manga of this LN title as well - or there is a manga related to it with the word 'carbon' or 'copy' or duplicates being relevant? google found "CO Chuu" which translated as 'Carbon Dioxide and Kiss' as a manga title - but I couldn't find anything about it I also found an "Altered Carbon" anime (based on an English novel) which doesn't fit maybe something about clones ?

 @Jon-Mitchell A little more history Carbon Copy is a reference to the pressure sensitive "carbon paper" that was used when you wanted to print two copies of something on a typewriter. The pressure would change the color of the back sheet (they were loaded simultaneously), while the front sheet had ink applied. It is still occasionally used for record-keeping with documents that have to be signed or hand-written, as a pen is effective as a typewriter at triggering the color change (Provided there aren't four layers of copies [personal experience]).

 @piisfun said in Acquisitions Speculation - General: Provided there aren't four layers of copies [personal experience]) you've got to press pretty hard for signatures to get through 4 part (or 6 part) forms in the USA - buying a car (at least the last time I did) still needed 4 part carbon copies

 I'm confused. Is the third license a manga now, or a light novel?
-

 @Clarabelle All I am certain of is it is some kind of book.
-

 @piisfun Well, that is clear.xD
-

 ...So. Is that a new hint, or what? "Wait, where did this come from?!"
-

 @piisfun
 To get even more historic, I think what you’re describing there is “carbonless” copy paper. Original carbon copies used two regular sheets of paper with a carbon paper sheet between which transferred through with pressure onto the back sheet. I’ve a box of 35 year old government issue carbons hanging around which I’ve kept because they’re surprisingly pretty on the front: https://photos.app.goo.gl/6MAH3KtpWUNN4ij3A

 @Shiroi-Hane This is what I like about this forum. You can have completely spontaneous discussions about things like this.
-

 Well, there probably won't be a title in it for me, so I don't even know why I'm this exited about the hints this time...
-

 A hidden volume has appeared.

 Just a reminder, the announcements will be posted on Facebook & Twitter, and there will be a live broadcast on twitch.
