Acquisitions Speculation - General

Yo you guys are right about Yen Press they have a lot of good series but waiting 4 months at min is hell
-
Their series are on Google Play.
Wandering Witch is really good. It's magical Kino's Journey. Highly recommend.
-
@yoshken I wanted to hit the Yen panel too. After 3 1/2 hours waiting for badge pick-up that there was a glitch on and the prospect of another 3 hours in line to fix the glitch and then another god knows how many hours to get in, my fiancé and I just decided to skip AX and try our luck at refunds.
Last time I’ll ever go. It’s pretty fun when you’re in, but the logistics were a total mess this year.
-
@village-idiot Only in North America, they removed all their titles from the other English speaking markets.
-
@the-green-death Ugh... Glad I make ACEN mail my badge out...

@eternal-wanderer And they don't release their stuff on Google Play.
They do release stuff on Google Play afaik
-
@terrence And as I said in my last post only in North America. All Yen Press books were removed internationally and are unable to be redownloaded if previously purchased.
-
Well Sam said on Discord he has "more than 5" license announcements.

Dang, that sucks, sorry.
I remember when they went down on Google originally, they said they'd be back up in more territories than before. Not that one I guess. =(

@the-green-death yeah it took 3 hours just to get in for me and I already had my badge
-
@legitpancake Well so much for this threads title.
edit, well now its accurate.
-
Fun fact: of the five new Yen Press LN licenses, zero are isekai.
I'm mainly interested in Bunny Girl and Elaina; will probably check out Behemoth too.
MAL
Beneath the Tangles (the blog I write for) -
@stardf29 noticed that to but that could also mean the j novel and seven seas picked up allot of Isekai so Yen went a different way.
-
@stardf29 Behemoth is an isekai though, isn't it? He's reincarnated into another world.
-
@hyperion Reincarnated into the same world.
Whoever said nothing's impossible never tried slamming a revolving door.
-
@myskaros Ah, gotcha.
-
@myskaros Here's a question, because it's been so long since I read it. In The Faraway Paladin, I know the MC is reincarnated, but do they ever say from where?
-
@paul-nebeling Yeah, in the first volume he was reincarnated from Japan.
-
Any word on the new pick ups yet
-
@ant13099 Sam is gonna announce them tomorrow. No hints provided so far though.
