Acquisitions Speculation - General

[stardf29]

Fun fact: of the five new Yen Press LN licenses, zero are isekai.

I'm mainly interested in Bunny Girl and Elaina; will probably check out Behemoth too.

[ant13099]

@stardf29 noticed that to but that could also mean the j novel and seven seas picked up allot of Isekai so Yen went a different way.

[Hyperion]

@stardf29 Behemoth is an isekai though, isn't it? He's reincarnated into another world.

[myskaros]

@hyperion Reincarnated into the same world.

[Hyperion]

@myskaros Ah, gotcha.

[Paul Nebeling]

@myskaros Here's a question, because it's been so long since I read it. In The Faraway Paladin, I know the MC is reincarnated, but do they ever say from where?

[the green death]

@paul-nebeling Yeah, in the first volume he was reincarnated from Japan.

[ant13099]

Any word on the new pick ups yet

[Terabyte]

@ant13099 Sam is gonna announce them tomorrow. No hints provided so far though.

[ant13099]

@terabyte cool thanks thought it was tonight must have gotten the days mixed up

Just a guess, but I’ve got a gut feeling

[Yoshken]

7seas starts now

[Yoshken]

[Yoshken]

The conditions of paradise

[myskaros]

You can just edit your previous post, you know.

[TheRedJet]

Pretty dissapoiting with the Light Novels this time with Seven Seas :(

[ant13099]

Boy hope J Novel got some good pick ups because both 7 seas and Yen press licenses are big let down

[Timmaaah]

Wow, that was super disappointing... Both Yen and SS didn't announce anything of interest so far... JNC is the last hope...

[Raitoiro]

7s was a huge desapointement this year :(
They did so well last time, annoucing Classroom of the elite and Mushoku Tensei, but here aside from "At night, I become a monster "
(Btw does anybody as a synopsis for it?) there's nothing good.
