Wow. I went from having 5 parts to read to over 20 in the blink of an eye. More stuff will drop tomorrow. Oh, and I need to add all the new titles to the Wikipedia page.

      I'm gonna be busy!

@terrence For me it will be "By the Grace Of the Gods" and the "Swordsman" one when it gets released.

@terrence Ouch. I haven gotten to the titles announced yesterday yet. I normally just read them in the order that they show up on the list and I’ve got a couple more parts to wade thru before I get to them. Of the two that I have read, I like By the Grace of the Gods more than The Underdog of the Eight Greater Tribes.

@terrence You should try Outer Ragna there's only one rather small part so far but it's really good and quite different from most isekai, the writing is also better than usual

Do you like death, war and misery ?
Do you like badass op loli who let nobody got in their way ?
              Do you like vengeance story?
If so then then vote for The girl who ate a death god

Looked though the list, there's a couple of listings that I'd give a try based on the premise, but gonna go with the majority of people here and say not a lot that's grabbing my interest. Of the recent stuff, I'm more interested in the announcements that went up before the convention.

That said, it's not like there's a shortage of stuff to read, especially once the new replacement team members are able to get going on things, so while somewhat disappointing, I don't really see it as a problem (especially if these licenses happen to appeal to other readers)

That's definitely high up on my list to try. Probably start with that "Majesty" spider one, then go to that.

I Actually think I've done really well out of this round of announcements from J novel and Yen press getting 10 new titles across both that i have varying degrees of interest in. My wallets not going to thank me though because ouch is this going to start to hurt, I might have to start being a bit more discerning with my purchases.

These are the ones I'm likely yo pick up.

                    The Economics of Prophecy
                    Isekai Rebuilding Project
The World's Least Interesting Master Swordsman
                    Tearmoon Empire
I Refuse to Be Your Enemy!
The White Cat’s Revenge as Plotted from the Dragon King’s Lap

                    and from Yen

                    High School DxD
High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even in Another World!
The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy
Banished from the Heroes’ Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside

So far I've read all the current new ones out except for Outer Ragna and The Economics of Prophecy one.

Out of the batch my favorites have been probably a toss up between Teogonia or Tearmoon Empire, both for different reasons.I like the to be power fantasy that Teogonia seems to going to build towards, and for Tearmoon the silly situations occurring around the main character due to her creating misunderstandings with all her subjects.

However, I will say that I did not dislike any of them so far, I'll have to read a complete volume to make a full verdict on whether or not I want to continue certain ones or not.

Personally, I like several that were announced. 4 of the 5 shojo seem really interesting to me, especially White Cat's Revenge. I was really happy with Grace of the Gods. There were more that I am interested in. Since the announcement of Yen press for that one looked almost the same as J-Novel, it appeared like they might have been working together on their respective announcement. I assume Yen Press is releasing the manga since J-Novel is releasing the Light Novel.

A lot of the announcements on Yen Press that I found didn't specify if it was manga or light novel.

I also thought it was interesting to hear how many translators and editors J-Novel has working for them. They have really grown in the last three years. Sure they pick some novels I am not interest in, but in reality so long as they pick ones that are profitable then that means they can grow even more and possibly license more that I am interested in.

Actually Grace of the Gods Manga was licnesed by Square-Enix-Books-and-Manga, they just announced it at AnimeNYC this past Saturday.

The only LNs that Yen Announced are:

                          High School DxD
High School Prodigies Have it Easy Even in Another World

                          In the Land of Leadale
                          Three Days of Happiness

                          Everything else was manga

Sorry but J-Novel Club does not publicly comment on any potential licensing decision or acquisitions.

@rahul-balaggan Thanks, I stand corrected on who licensed Grace of the Gods. I think it was Square Enix that didn't seem to say whether they licensed manga or lightnovels as well so sorry to Yen Press for saying that about them.

Did I misunderstand something, or did Sam announce that they licensed more than the 5 already known shoujo light novels?

Yes they announced 5 new Shoujo titles, 2 of which are still being finalized.

                                Launching J-Novel Heart - a shoujo label!

It’s finally here! We’re starting off our new label with five light novel titles that you’ll be sure to fall in love with.

                                Tearmoon Empire
Mia, the hated princess of the fallen Tearmoon Empire, finds herself executed by guillotine... only to wake up as a kid again! With this second chance, she resolves to fix the ailing Empire. Can Mia change history and save her own skin?

I Refuse to Be Your Enemy!
When Kiara's adoptive father orders her to marry a man named Viscount Credias, she realizes her recurring dreams are visions of a future in which she dies a villain. She hatches a plan to ensure a future where she stays ALIVE.

The White Cat’s Revenge as Plotted from the Dragon King’s Lap
Ruri finds herself stranded in a strange world by her selfish friend. Then she gets the ability to turn into a white cat! How can she get revenge in the form of a cute little cat?!

The Tales of Marielle Clarac (currently being finalized)
Marielle is the image of a plain young noblewoman with a prim and proper exterior, but inside she hides the heart of a sly and devious fangirl! Welcome to Marielle’s world, where people aren’t always what they seem and secrets are commonplace!

The Bibliophile Princess (currently being finalized)
When book-loving Lady Elianna spots Prince Christopher, her betrothed, consorting with another noble lady, she assumes the annulment of her engagement is inevitable. But courtly life and love are more complicated than it might seem!

@terabyte I really hope there will be more surprise titles than just this one. I‘m not really interested in 'Can Someone Please Explain What’s Going On?!', although 'Tearmoon Empire', The 'White Cat‘s Revenge as Plotted from the Dragon King‘s Lap', 'The Tales of Marielle Clarac' and 'The Bibliophile Princess' are a total highlight for me. I totally hope, that JNC will license more of such great titles.
