Acquisitions Speculation - General

[Jon Mitchell]

@piisfun said in Acquisitions Speculation - General:

Provided there aren't four layers of copies [personal experience])

you've got to press pretty hard for signatures to get through 4 part (or 6 part) forms

in the USA - buying a car (at least the last time I did) still needed 4 part carbon copies

[Silver Sugar Duchess]

I'm confused. Is the third license a manga now, or a light novel?

[piisfun]

@Clarabelle All I am certain of is it is some kind of book.

[Silver Sugar Duchess]

@piisfun Well, that is clear.xD

[Princess Kay]

...So. Is that a new hint, or what? "Wait, where did this come from?!"

[Shiroi Hane]

@piisfun
To get even more historic, I think what you’re describing there is “carbonless” copy paper. Original carbon copies used two regular sheets of paper with a carbon paper sheet between which transferred through with pressure onto the back sheet. I’ve a box of 35 year old government issue carbons hanging around which I’ve kept because they’re surprisingly pretty on the front: https://photos.app.goo.gl/6MAH3KtpWUNN4ij3A

[piisfun]

@Shiroi-Hane This is what I like about this forum. You can have completely spontaneous discussions about things like this.

[Silver Sugar Duchess]

Well, there probably won't be a title in it for me, so I don't even know why I'm this exited about the hints this time...

[piisfun]

A hidden volume has appeared.

Just a reminder, the announcements will be posted on Facebook & Twitter, and there will be a live broadcast on twitch.

@Rahul-Balaggan And it's live.

[Silver Sugar Duchess]

I take back what I previously said. I can't believe they licensed A Wild Last Boss Appeared!!!! I'm so unbelievably happy right now!😆😆😆 Deathbound Duke's Daughter sounds interesting too, I will definitely check it out after I've finished reading the first parts of A Wild Last Boss Appeared!.

[TheRedJet]

Just checked Deathbound Duke's Daughter and there are only 2 vol. since Dec 2017

[Nosgoroth]

@TheRedJet I asked in its thread and it doesn't seem to be cancelled.

April 2020 hints explanations:

spoiler

[TheRedJet]

@Nosgoroth I know,The author focus more on WN instead of LN for some reason from what i´ve heard

[Terabyte]

Guess I'm gonna pass on Deathbound Duke's Daughter for now. Maybe if a new volume comes out or next time it's on catchup and I've got nothing else to read.

I'll check out Fake Princess and read for sure Wild Boss.

[Terrence]

Seven Seas doing a licensing event now too. Starts tomorrow.

[LegitPancake]

Over a dozen manga/LNs. Nice.

[Silver Sugar Duchess]

Let‘s see what they license.^^
