I'm pretty happy with the new licenses, I just hope it doesn't take too long for them to be posted on the site.
-
Summary of licenses
-
@eternal-wanderer All of them start a 7pm UT today except Emperors Lady in Waiting
-
Wow I got one right. First time ever lol...
-
Piggy Duke and Gun Loli?! Holy crap this round is pretty awesome
-
@sniper_samurai They should all be at exactly the same time :< Unless you mean the manga?
-
The Emperor's Lady in Waiting is a novel I was not expecting but much appreciated in being licensed, quite a few this set of licenses around I will probably read, but quite a few I will purchase.
-
@myskaros I see it there now, it wasn't showing in the upcoming releases when I posted that earlier.
-
"Piggy Duke" and "Born to Master the Blade" are now on my must read list. And there goes more of my free time and expendable budget.

I'll make that <1% guess that Sam has expanded into the K-Novel Club market and licensed The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor or Dungeon Defense.
I find that to be unlikely. I mean, it's not impossible, but Sam's physically in Japan isn't he? His connections and business relationships are mainly in Japan, it's not like he can just take a quick trip over to Korean and talk to some publishers there.
Three years later and a search on the hope of... this comes up with a brief spark then disappointment...
Would love to find Legendary Moonlight Sculptor here...

I‘ve read on Twitter that we will get a new batch of licenses soon. Will there be any hints again (in the next part of I Got Hit By a Truck But I Wasn’t Sent to Another World! What the Heck?!)?
-
@liber-monstrorum Yeah, we need the next part of I Got Hit By a Truck But I Wasn’t Sent to Another World! What the Heck?!
The public needs to know what happens next!
-
@lily-garden I really hope that we will also get more Kadokawa licenses for the Heart label in future, like Sugar Apple Fairy Tale and Earl & Fairy for example. I especially hope for these longer-running series.
-
@liber-monstrorum Earl & Fairy falls under Shueisha and, aside from Jump spinoffs, still mostly untapped. For Heart would be Julian Publishing, Futabasha, Starts Shuppan and more from Overlap great. (Alphapolis too, but they are still dicks)
-
@lotteliese My mistake. I forgot Earl & Fairy isn‘t Kadokawa.
-
I just got a look at Seven Seas announcements, and there is only one title there that I intend to follow and it's a manga. Other than that I wasn't really impressed with this round from them.
-
@lighthawk96 Agreed, there was only one light novel that took my interest this time which was the isekai minecraft with a dark elf wife series.
-
Indeed I liked the isekai Minecraft one when I read the raws. It's suitably insanely over the top and I'll be buying it
-
I'm pretty amused that theirs a light novel title that references Old Man Henderson, I'll definitely give that one a read.
