@terabyte There’s also this answer.
https://curiouscat.me/jnovelclub/post/325280693Yeah, so he wants to keep them to March at the latest... But I don't think anyone is going to hold one to these Curiosity Cat posts as gospel if licensing (or whatever that process is called) wasn't as speedy.

If one of them is an Overlap title, I'll guess Nozomanu Fushi no Boukensha
You were right!
Also... The blonde bias continues!!! 3 Blondes on this cover!
Edit:

Sidenote: It's crazy that of the Bunkos by Overlap, only 3 have reached a conclusion according to Bookwalker.
Rest in peace Isekai ni Tensei Shitandakedo Ore, Tensai tte Kanchigai Saretenai?
Holy Tolito, and this was your next post, you are prescient! What do you see next in your crystal ball?
-
@terrence lol, other guesses I failed at were stuff like that one about the werewolf general in the Demon Lord's army. Otherwise, my next serious guess was Mushoku Tensei so we'll see if that comes true. Otherwise, I have a bias towards Overlap titles since I stalk their blog for Arifureta news.
-
Can someone make sense of one of the hints that matched up with the Undead title (Hints set #2 are for this, right?)?
"Not Part of the Horizon Series"
The next one is the only one I may be able to correctly guess as Kou 1 Desu ga Isekai de Joushu Hajimemashita.
I'm going out on a limb on this one, but the hints point towards mummies. That'd be a cool pair of sort of gothic fantasy creatures oriented stuff, one serious (?) the other light-hearted... I think.
-
I look forward to you being right too. It's like a more light hearted version of Realist Hero I think.

Someone called Infinite Stratos at some point, right? I know people requested it.
-
Lmao, the return of Infinite Stratos. Oh lord.
-
Infinite Stratos is such a huge curve-ball. Better late than never indeed. Guess we'll have to wait more for Mushoku Tensei. At least we'll finally get to read what's next since the fantranslation has been dead for ages. We should be caught up in a little over a year.
-
IS seems like a pretty big deal still (the anime was marmite but popular and not too too long ago). I enjoyed it for what it was - dumb and trashy, but comfort food fun. No trope too trope-y! I’m actually quite excited to read and compare as this’ll be the first LN that ive seen the anime first.

So Hint 3 was Undead Adventurer, not Hint 2 set? Interesting.
So hint 2 is still up in the air? Not part of the Horizon series + an army of evil.
And we still got that Not a Light Novel hint one.
-
@terrence IS is army of evil and not part of horizon series.
Sorry but J-Novel Club does not publicly comment on any potential licensing decision or acquisitions.

Wait, what? I figured IS was "Better Late than Never".
I'm so confused... So I guess Mushuko Tensei is still a possibility for hint 5.

@terrence
It seems this is the "half of the army of evil" means@stardf29 said in Infinite Stratos: Volume 1 Discussion:
@paulnamida Can't really say about the Horizon clue but the "half an army of evil" clue is...

Never knew IS is under Overlap now. I sorta lost interest after the author had that fight with MF and saw no new volume come out till 2 years later. Nice to know I can eventually read the continuation.
Also sorta wish Skeleton Knight in Another World was the one instead of Nozomanu Fushi no Boukensha. I liked the WN translation and since the WN stopped getting LN officially translated would be nice. Still gonna read it though since I am interested.
-
@vinnces I love that one too. Maybe you are better at convincing Sam than me :D
-
Surprised IS wasn't licensed in its hayday. Takes me back though.
Laura best Girl. Fight me.
-
@thoraxe41 You misspelled Charlotte.
-
@tremorc seconded, it still baffles me everyone keeps misspelling her name. #CharlotteBestGirl #TeamCharlotte
